Allow them to "change your mind" and pretend they won. Then eat, get help, change your situation and you can do what you want. This is a pointless battle to fight if you're in this situation.

I do have a suggestion for improving your post. If you repost with a title like "Homeless guy being denied food at shelter because I'm not a feminist", you will get a *lot* more attention to your post.

I stayed in a homeless shelter many years go. I had a little cell (was too small to call a room) with my own little fridge inside. The other residents were a mixture of junkies and prostitutes.

I kept to myself, didn't get into any fights, and didn't get involved romantically or sexually with any of the prostitutes (though I had opportunities, they were remarkably cheap).

I had the luxury of having an old laptop that someone donated to me. I installed Linux on it that came free with a Linux magazine, and taught myself to code.

I approached some small IT companies asking if I could work on their projects for free in return for experience. It worked and a couple of companies would email me projects, I could write the code and send the completed code back to them. I put this experience on my CV and managed to land a high paying job as a Linux Engineer.

It was a big break, and one reason I impressed the Director so much was the fact I was self taught. That big break changed my life and I moved out of the hostel and into a flat.

Today, i'm am Software Developer. I work from home and live in a quiet little riverside cottage. Life is now good, all because I chose to keep my head down and teach myself coding rather than getting involved with the druggies and prostitutes.

Record everything. Obsessively.

Then organize and present your case.

Don't be vulgar, but do ask questions. And record the answers.

Homelessness unfortunately makes you the most powerless of the powerless.

You can try recording a video of them refusing you for not being feminist, and uploading it to youtube. But that's about it.

Why can't you escape homelessness?
