He guys (M - 36),
I know that times are currently difficult and men are being overlooked in the current generation to make up for the previous generations mistakes. I do not believe that Feminism has the correct arguments and women were already being employed and promoted prior to this 3rd wave. Of course some figures are skewed as we are the first generation to support women and therefore numbers would have increased naturally without quotas albeit at a slowr pace. The fact that men in this generation support women to have a voice including those from MensRights seems overlooked, but Feminism tends to vilify Men.
All quotas has done is put the wong women in top jobs as the good hardworking women usually are too busy with their jobs to apply for higher positions (unfortunately these are the women that should be applying). So all the quotas have done is put lazy individuals who have an ability to talk rather than work well in top jobs. The same thing would occur if there were quotas for men.
Anyways looking through the r/MensRights sub I can see why people are at times are repulsed by its content. It's the wording behind what you are trying to get across - don't give them the fodder. The same honestly occurs in the r/Feminism sub but there is less taboo associated with it (Unfair - yes I know). To really get your point across we shouldn't use derogatory terms such as Mangina etc - respect garners respect. Respect garners good attention, not all attention is good attention converse to the popular idiom.
So raise your grievances respectfully and to make real change go out and vote in your election against political leaders who have biased opinions or are easily swayed. Vote for egalitarian leaders who see actions in a wider context and that can perceive the future. This may be in fact a Female leader, although I do get that may not be possible in the current environment as the majority of female politician have joined parliament with a feminist bias.
Women and men both are capable in the workplace and in parenthood, however feminism has become hate, Don't let MensRight go down the same route. Protest with respect, and you will get further.
All the best guys and I do feel your pain, and so do a lot of other bright, intelligent women and men.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
