So this year I'll be attending college and just like everyone else I started looking up for dormitories. In a city that has greater landmass and surface area than some actual countries like Belgium and Netherlands I have failed to find one(1) male dormitory that isn't asking for insane amounts of tuition,that doesn't looks and feels like French catacombs and that is fairly close to my college. Turns out every male student I have spoken to was suffering from this exponentially growing issue. Things took a worse turn when government decided to turn 2 of 5 male dormitories into female ones which brought the amount of female dormitories into 15 and dropped males into a whopping 3 which all remaining 3 of them are government dormitories (funded and built by government) which you need to meet some certain criterias like not having a higher household income over than a certain amount (otherwise you are considered as a substitute candidate which makes it a lot harder for you to get in). That left us with no choice but to resort to rent/purchase a flat which we were surprised and being turned down by most inconsiderate ignorant and sexist land lords who was filled with prejudice against to male students. Because every male student are having a fucking frat party every second right? Or all of them are bringing a girl every now and then and committing indecent affairs right? We are all destructive ass mfs who like to party and not care about our surroundings whereas girls are kind, trying to achieve their goals,calm,down to earth right? These are the excuses they came up with and I am sick of this bullshit. They are about to bring anti-homeless seat bullshit as well. Can't have shit in this place
