It is discrimination technically and feminists try to drag us down to their level by claiming we're complaining about 'trivial' things all the time so ignore them. I also love the way people gatekeep the fuck out men's issues when they don't even post here very often.

I do think though as far as discrimination goes it's not very high on the agenda by most peoples' standards, companies which practice this shit should just lose business. I refer people to Milton Friedman with this sort of thing, if a business is bigoted, make them pay for their bigotry. The great thing is, this actually works, there were coffee shops and so on that openly discriminated against men trying to charge them more because of the 'gender pay gap' and they ended up going out of business.

Yes, it's discrimination. Even if it were a small thing, men deserve private spaces just as much as women do

But there are more important things to be concerned with. It speaks to their mindset:

Notice the elitism in their mindset? Kind of reminds me of separate bathrooms: white women, white men, everything else.

While one might think this is bad,if I came upon a place that had separate bathrooms in such a way, I would know immediately the quality of character the proprietor is... and I would seek elsewhere.

What museum was this? You can try complaining. Doubt it'll do anything but maybe if enough people complain then they might create a men's only washroom

Wanting a male toilet is not trivial and you have a right to complain.

Write a short letter or email or fill in the survey form at the museum.

Use the word: "uncomfortable"

It might have something to do with the fact that women’s bathroom lines are longer on average. It also could have something to do with distribution of menstrual items.
