I recently encountered the mother of one of my friends who is "really high up" in the world of gender studies for all that it is worth. I hear her arguing with someone over the phone, and she was arguing about feminism and the patriarchy, and I could predict every single word out of her mouth. All of her points, from "the patriarchy hurts men too", to rape culture and toxic masculinity, were exactly what is spouted by feminists.
