It's a meme. It's not perfect. But some marriages have been very good because of some of those traditional roles. I think what they are saying is that feminists have tried to erode traditional roles of women and to create this "Wonder Woman" image of the career mom that she can work a 40+ hour week (even be an executive), raise the kids, cook dinner (or reassign that to dad), and never break a sweat. As a guy in a fairly traditional marriage, I can tell you that my wife (who works the weekends while I take over watching our son) who watches our son Monday-Friday, it is a lot of work and she usually makes dinner too, bakes pies, hosts holiday dinners and makes everything look magical and beautiful like Martha Stewart with ornately decorative themes. Did I demand thos when we were dating and engaged? No. But it just worked out that way and she is happy with it. Nobody else watches our son and I also get to work part of the time from my home office so I can help her a bit.

I didn't mean to offend by that being in there but there is an argument to be made that traditional roles help reduce some stressors in marriage.

Honor is a synonym for respect and yes, there has been a concerted effort in new age feminism to degrade and disrespect men and men's contributions. Have you not heard about "smashing the patriarchy"? Or "mansplainong"? These are efforts to trivialize or to insult men so that whatever men have to say on a subject is either meaningless or that men, by the mere fact of having an opinion (an opinion that in this situation usually runs contrary to the narrative attempting to be established by the female OP or speaker) is coming from a place of power/suppression and so any comment made by the man is abusive and the woman can use it as a shield and a sword to be the victims whilst being the aggressor at the same time by diffusing whatever argument contrary to the woman's position the man asserts rendering him in this instance neutered and typically embarrassed by the virtue signaling which thereafter takes place whilst the woman speaker or OP uses this situation as a rally-around-the-flag moment to her sycophants to pile on the male "would-be aggressor" to further pummel him and his argument (no matter how fact-based or logical it may be" into the proverbial dirt.
