I found this somewhat bizarre case on Wikipedia. A woman kidnaped and raped a mormon missionary in the 70s. According to the article and the sources, she was also the owner of the first commercially cloned dog (!) and killed a holocaust survive in a hit and run (!).

There’s a documentary called Tabloid on this case. It was an interesting watch.
