98% of mass shooters over the last 50 years have been men, and at least 53% of them have been white men.

So that means it equally shared blame with white men, no? That's proportionally correct for USA about 53% white or not too far off. I don't think over 50 years ago there were less men shooters I just think mass shootings didn't really happen over 50 years ago. There probably aren't records or it wasn't seen as a problem.

“White heterosexual male entitlement fuses with downward mobility, subordinated masculinity, and other disappointing life course events” to lead mass shooters to carry out their attacks in an attempt to regain a sense of dominance after feeling socially outcast.

It's almost as if the answer was staring us in the face. If only we could just put these pieces together to work out why men over the last 50 years could have now reached this point. mmmm white heterosexual men...... downward mobility, subordinated... disappointing life course events...feeling socially outcast.

I dunno, I think I'm missing something.
