The problem with conservatives is that they typically just react to whatever the Left is doing, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does open them up to some rather wishy washy behavior.

When gender ideology was/is the hot topic, that seemed to be all conservatives like Walsh cared about, and they were perfectly willing to trash men in order to win their battle with the trans people, even though these same conservatives had been outspoken against feminist misandry not too long ago.

It's the old, "stop lying about the prevalence of rape, it isn't anywhere near as common as 1 in 5. This is nothing but hysteria," followed by "oh no! All the women are going to get raped if any men are allowed to breathe the air of a women's restroom! Obviously men will rape women the first chance they get!" Exaggerated perhaps, but you get my point.

Maybe as the popular topic shifts back to feminism vs anti-feminsm/MRAs, conservatives will shift back to our side for a time, at least rhetorically. I've known for awhile that the public focus would soon be shifting back to our issues, but I didn't think it would start with the Barbie movie and focus on the "male loneliness epidemic." This isn't how I'd have liked things to go, but so it is I guess.
