Let's be honest. It's not just feminists who need to be taught this lesson, but the vast majority of western women. Just today one of the hardest working engineers at work, who worked 60 hours a week even as he was going through a custody battle, got an "under-performing" rating last year. Why? His female boss didn't like him challenging her - she just wants him to say yes, yes, yes, even if it's not the right thing to do for the business or the people. On the other hand, men tend to welcome input. Meanwhile, a bitchy 20-something female engineer who doesn't contribute jack squat and is little more than a secretary gets a stellar performance review. She never works weekends, rarely works any overtime, definitely not 50-60 hours like my friend. I'm sure she'll be going places, though. It's the old girls' network. Honestly, this 20-something bitch gets more sympathy when she has "relationship troubles" with her little boyfriend than the guy who works 60 hours weeks and JUST WENT THROUGH A FUCKING DIVORCE AND CUSTODY BATTLE FOR HIS CHILDREN. And then he gets an under-performing rating? Screw that. The majority of those I've seen under-perform as engineers are WOMEN. There's a reason that women are so under-represented in fields where you HAVE to perform, like actual hardcore code work - they usually cannot cut it. That's why they women tend to take jobs where you can bullshit your way through with meaningless work while relying on others (mostly men) to do the hard thinking. There are a few excellent female engineers out there, but they are extremely rare. About half of female engineers are basically worthless, while almost every male engineer is at the top of his game. It's not like this is even unique to engineering, it's ubiquitous across western civilization, especially in large companies who give women advantages in hiring and promotions undeservedly.

Some part of this sounds like shooting ourselves in the foot. If we could actually make jobs with a reasonable work-life balance and still maintain economic efficiency, wouldn't that be a good thing? It would perhaps implicitly benefit women because previously demanding careers would be more palatable to them, but solutions where we make things better for everyone are usually good to have happen.

I think Malcolm Gladwell talks about something similar in one of his earlier books (might be thinking of someone else though). Basically there was a study of a group of highly intelligent children in New York a few decades ago. It turned out that most of the kids grew up to be reasonably successful adults with a decent work-life balance but not titans of politics/industry/etc. The argument was that the kids were smart enough to realize that it wasn't worth making huge personal sacrifices for their careers, even though they had the intellectual potential to be highly successful if they chose that tradeoff.

Preach it, brother. Men are naturally better - it's in our genetics. If females actually were capable of working harder, then we would see more female CEOs and politicians hot dog vendors and NFL players. But females are taught from a young age to just bat their lashes and they get whatever they want, supposing they find the right weak man.

Women are incapable of settling down and making a commitment to things. It's because they gathered while we hunted. Men had to commit for several days, chasing down a wild antelope, sometimes starving. This is why we are better at running. While all women had to do was go out to the field and munch on some berries. This is why women gain fat in their thighs and asses.

But yea, you are totally right. There is no such thing as discrimination, I'm sure if a female wanted to get a CEO job and worked hard for it all the men would respect her and definitely wouldn't call her a bitch or anything like that. She would be looked upon as a strong woman. Also, no one would discriminate against her for possibly having kids in the future, because she appears again strong, they'd know she is making that sacrifice. So really, it's womens fault that they don't have these jobs. No one is standing in their way, especially because it's already been like 2 generations since they started being able to vote and shit.

If you don't believe in a proper work-life balance, then don't complain when Family Court rules in favor of wives during divorce and custody proceedings.
