Feminism in North America and Europe is now mostly about entitlement. Women who believe that they should be able to have a family in the way they want to have it, have a work-life balance in the way they want to have it, and yet still get the top jobs.

But I'm sorry, that's not how it even works for us, the men. Men make sacrifices to get where they get. It's part of maturity, you give up things you might have had in order to get something else. Show me a women who makes the same choices as a CEO or a top politician, and I'll show you a woman who has that job.

I really believe that many women are starting to realize that the things men did to meet their roles... well, they weren't easy. Wielding "patriarchal power" is not real power - you are playing a role that consumes you. You don't have a choice about how you use your "power".

So I guess what I'll say is that unless you're willing to sacrifice the way men have for centuries and work hard at things that suck in their own way, shut up and stop whining. The women that work hard and give things up get where they want to go. Feminists who bemoan "patriarchy" are just looking for an excuse to justify and bolster their own personal weaknesses.
