Mother eventually informs herself about circumcision, decides not to cut her next baby boy (after having it done to the previous ones ) and makes awesome video on the topic. THIS type of testimony can really help bringing the issue mainstream.

I went through this. I was 19 when my first son was born, and doctors told me it was what needed to be done to keep him healthy. I had no clue it was even a decision or that there were other options.

When my second son was born we left him intact. We had every intent on keeping it that way. Our pediatrician told us that he has a problem when he was about 2, that it would not retract. He said this would cause a lot of problems later on and that it would be better to circumcise at that point as it would just be more traumatic later. Trusting our doctor we had it done.

We found out later, when the internet made more information available, that this was completely normal and we did not need to circumcise. It traumatized our son who could not handle doctors for years.

If I had to do it over again I certainly would not have done either child. When we talk about what to do with this problem we HAVE to address education first. There are many mothers like me out there who only want what is best for our kids. We have no vested interest in circumcision, we were told it was the best thing for our kids.

We have to teach people the truth about what circumcision does and how it effects men.

It could go both ways. It must be uncomfortable for circumcised men to hear such an attractive woman say things that they will basically interpret as an attack on their manhood.

On the plus side, the halo effect works for our advantage here too. Attractive people are assumed to be right.
