Somewhere along the line, near the end of 2016, I decided to make a pledge to myself. I decided I would not shy away from calling out men bashing when it crossed my path. I have since refined some of my thoughts. In 2017 I Pledge: - To call out, write, and speak up when I come across obvious men bashing in my life, even if doing so would make me or others uncomfortable. - To work to raise awareness about female on male violence, in any form. - To arm myself with irrefutable science concerning issues that affect men, and have that knowledge at my fingertips, quickly accessible on my phone, as an immediate reference point. To share with others my best findings. - To constantly be Stoic, and no matter how much I may desire to do so, never, ever, ever, lower myself to the level of some feminist groups by being disrespectful towards women. I believe that by doing so, it will only bring disrepute to men. I will choose the higher road. - I Pledge to try to encourage two other men to consider the MRM, and then encourage them to make the same Pledge as I have.
