Was watching Falling down this morning and an officer was just asking the main character about her restraining order. Every question he asked just highlighted how she didn't really need one but got one anyways "better safe than sorry". He never hit her or their kid. Didn't drink or do drugs. Just had a temper and she thought he could do violence.

If its point out in a 20 year old movie imagine how long it was really going on before it was noticed.
