I have been married for 28 years. I am a middle child and she is the Baby Of The Family. I am the predominant earner and I pay all the bills. Always have. I can retire with a pension of 70% of my current earnings in eight months (11/2013). I live in Pennsylvania which is a marital property state. My wife is "entitled" to 50% of everything I have ever worked for in my life. She has been a steadfast wife/spoiled woman who has put up with ...a lot of my shit. She has only had to work for supplemental spending money. While we are far from wealthy we are lower middle class. I am beginning to dislike this woman. She was taking celexa for a year or so and this greatly improved not only our marriage but her personality and it returned her to the woman I fell in love with all those years ago. She stopped taking the medication without telling me. Meanwhile I have paid off the mortgage on the house (that I have made every payment on) and I began preparations for retirement. This is when the "change" began. My wife does not want me to retire. This is very clear to me although she says "it's your decision"( that tone...). I truly believe she wants a divorce and she is angling for me too be the antagonist. I have never been unfaithful to this woman, ever. She isn't accusing me, I just know that after 28 years I can detect subtle differences in her and these changes in her are not subtle at all. I know she is pushing my buttons. I KNOW IT. I don't want to start over. I give her anything she wants. Truly I do not know her agenda. I need help. I need advisement. She is pushing me out but in a way that it will get her everything I have worked for. I am at the end of my rope. Please. Help. I have even begun to drink, as I am doing now, so forgive my rambling.
