Foreskin exists as a natural barrier and shield for your glans and entrance to your urethra. The glans without a foreskin will dry up and keratinize, therefore leading to reduced sensitivity and much reduced sexual pleasure. In countries where std control is not widely available and stds run rampant, circumcision can be a useful and healthy medical procedure. Normally in 1st world countries circumcision is completely unnecessary and does not have any medical upsides. In other words, don't circumcise your kids for no reason.
