I've noticed that it's gotten to the point where political correctness has amounted to dismissing all criticisms against beliefs/movements that are currently in vogue. The two best examples I can think of are feminism and transgenderism. What happens when you criticize feminism? You are called an incel and a misogynist, and your criticisms are dismissed on that basis. What happens when you criticize transgenderism? You are called a transphobic bigot, and your criticisms are dismissed on that basis. This is one of the main reasons why it has become such a difficult task to advocate for men's rights without being disregarded.
