Annual numbers vs lifetime numbers.

Add up the annual numbers from a few years of the survey and we approach the lifetime numbers men report. So either the same men are getting raped/MTP over and over and women are not, or men stop admitting they were victimized over time.

When men try to get help they are told they aren't victims unless they were raped by a man. They are told men are rapists, not victims. They are told they are derailing the conversation from the true victims - women. If they are a straight man raped by a woman or a gay man raped by a man, they are made fun of for getting upset. If they are a straight man raped by a man, they are called gay.

It is easier for them to convince themselves they weren't raped, than convince others they were and are deserving of help.

So practically no men contacted a crisis hotline? Didn’t use legal services? Or used other medical and mental care.

So what you are saying is that men don’t talk about it as much and are proving our point. I like that argument against anyone using these statistics for credibility.

1st link: Stats are flawed to some degree anyway. There's always a margin of error. It's 6 years old. Only 12, 727 interviews were completed with 1428 partially completed. Given that the American population is roughly 330 million people that is far too low.
Not all rapes are reported and women are the ones to tend to lie/falsely accuse a man of rape. Overall not a bad study but again there is no 'rape culture' and both sexes do it.
2nd: This one suggests that rapists are everywhere.

We know that false rape accusations are somewhat common. What percentage were false? Data also shows that rape in the LGB and T+ is highly flawed. The CDC has data showing false rape accusations as well as not reporting them b/c those groups want to hide ANY negativity that group has. This one focuses on women. A biased study is a flawed study.

Feminists (most prominently, Mary Koss) made sure to exclude males from the definitions of rape. There's a lot of number juggling going on, or use of bad statistics. The "1 in 5" is long since disqualified.
