While International Men's Day does exist, it is not officially recognized by the UN (but International Toilet Day is 🤣). Today I got an email on my work email saying that a request has been made to have the UN recognize International Men's Day. Not sure, but the request might have been made to the Israeli consulate or something like that.

The email had a link. Emails today being as dangerous as they are, just to be sure, I reported the email. The tech guys said it was SPAM. They did not say it was dangerous, just that it was SPAM. So it is entirely possible the email was legit, just not a "business" email. I tired Googling, but if this is a brand new initiative it would not show up, and it I could not find anything.

So, here's my question - does anybody know of such an initiative? Or can you find out about it? If this is real, I'm thinking a lot of guys here might want to start writing letters. The email did ask us to write letters, might've been to our consulate, not sure though.
