Which isn't all that different from Paul Elam(the founder of AVFM, and likely the only MRA who will ever gain something approaching celebrity status)trying to pass off self-serving click bait like "Women, Stop Asking To Be Raped" as "satire", when it's pretty obvious that he was the equivalent of a sulky 14 year old scribbling graffiti on a bathroom wall, then mistaking such acting out for an act of revolution

Solanas, Elam, and their adherents are reflective of a virulent strain of pseudo-activism that's been rampant in America since at least the late 60s. These folks aren't devoted to human freedom and flourishing for one and all, regardless of gender; they're primary interest is in drawing attention to themselves and feeding their own egos at all costs. Just as Solanas's approach failed to actually uplift that portion of the female population that's in need in any material way(nothing she did brought us closer to ending welfare policies which punish women for having their children's father in the house, and which also does nothing to put these same women into legit work), Elam's antics failed to help men who are in need in any concrete, tangible way

His endless griping over how fucked up modern women are compared to a white washed view of the 1950s that exists nowhere except his own imagination hasn't brought us remotely closer to ending a drug war which disproportionately locks up men, providing more ready access to vocational training than currently exists(it's men in poverty who are most susceptible to all the pathologies MRAs claim to care about. Job training stands to life several million Americans, many of them men, into the middle and upper classes), or abolishing The White House's power to declare war without the authorization of Congress, something that's led to the senseless deaths of several million men, from Vietnam-unto the present day
