This was back in November, before the #metoo sh..storm. This is pretty much a "go directly to jail" card. There will be a lot of challenges on this one

I find the changes interesting, one is the defense has to disclose evidence, At least in America I always thought that Discovery existed for both parties.

IN Canada, if a girl says you rape her on Tuesday, and you could show you were out of town, In the previous law you could wait until the trial and make her look like a liar, but now if she knows you were out of town on Tuesday she can adjust her lie and say Wednesday
