There s been the whole backlash about Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie being 'snubbed' for Oscar nominations. Before they play the victim card I'd like to point out that:

  • Stanley Kubrick
  • Quentin Tarantino
  • Alfred Hitchcock

And

  • Ridley Scott

None of these talented men got an Oscar for their work despite the revolutionary work they did for cinema.

So if feminists think this is a snub because Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie are women: think again. Talented men get snubbed all the time.
