With worsening climate in workplaces if you are a man, it makes sense to have guidelines that can help you avoid unpleasant as well as life destroying circumstances.

Don't Shit where you eat

Workplace dating is a good deal for women but not for men. If you are a successful man, your options widen up and its inverse for women who wont date down (which is totally not common, believe me/s). So by dating women at your workplace, you are not only limiting your own options but putting yourself at risk of spiteful ex ruining your life.

Be Professional

How do you deal with people in your workplace? by being professional. You are not there to make friends, you are there to make money. So you may be a friendly dude who wants to help out people, get to know them etc. but if anything u said or did is taken out of context (and it will be taken out of context) you are fucked. A professional conduct can help you create a distance from everyone around you while still being engaged.

Never be alone

Now there has been lots of article about how if men are refusing to be alone with a woman or not wanting to talk to them alone, that they are discriminating or breaking the law or how its harmful to women blah blah. But understand that discrimination is something they have to prove to affect you, something they are afraid of. Proof or evidence is there Kryptonite. Thats why they work so hard to refute pressummtion of innocence. Also discrimination is easier to overcome even when proven. There are ways to create plausible deniability and its not discrimination if you conduct yourself same way with men or women irrespective of your motive.

Don't be a hero

Feminists are not gonna pay you to be agent of gender equality in your workplace. But they will definitely burn you to the stake if its suits their agenda. So if you want to give helping hand to women in your workplace go ahead, its a good deed. But no good deed goes unpunished. Your job is to earn money by doing your job. Deviate from it at your own risk

Paperwork

Written trail is worth its weight in gold. Making notes is good habit either way but could save ur ass. A guy with notes is trustworthy, be the guy with notes.

Know that you are disposable but they are too

You don't owe your workplace anything and you will be sacrificed at a moment notice. So if you are falsely accused they would rather get rid of you then give you the benefit of doubt. But they can be sued which they hate more, because if their decision cost company money, they are in trouble. So if they know you have ammunition and you are willing to fight, they may back off or you may be able to get reasonable settlement.

Most importantly stay vigilant, there are always red flags that we ignore, that we should not. Stay safe
