So I had a one night stand with a girl I met at the bar. Seems simple enough, nothing too special. She spent all night by my side, I made all sorts of tame ice-breaking physical contact (eg. arm around her shoulder, hand on her knee, etc.). It was going swimmingly, and we ended up back at my friend's place.

So we continue to have drinks and enjoy the night. As it begins to get late I turn to her and ask if she wants to go find a bed with me. She said yes and instantly grabbed her belongings and we made our way to our bed. I make my move and as expected she went for it.

So we start fooling around, I go down on her and so on. Now at one point she chimes in and says that my friend, owner of the house, might be mad. I tell her that it's no problem and we can stop if she wanted to, but she does not cut short our fun and we continue.

Flash forward to a few days later.

I am going on with my daily business when all of a sudden my friend asks me a much too serious question. "Did you rape her?". I was shocked, she had been going around telling people that I had forced myself on her, that she had said no and that I just kept going and that she had not shown any interest in me all night. It was a really rough week after that, my friends weren't looking at me right, I felt completely uncomfortable with sex, and my confidence and self security hit an all time low. Luckily, my friend was there and assured me that he saw what transpired and how she acted leading up to the sex, but that's not the end. He did some digging of his own and found out that this was the tenth time she had falsely accused someone of forcing themselves on her, she was later confronted about how regret isn't rape and luckily there was never any legal claims against me.

It was scary to have a stranger's words against my character hold more merit than my own, to have friends that instantly took her side. It was not a good experience.
