My brother was sexually abused and my mother facilitated it. Thankfully nobody touched him but a 16 year old boy indecently exposed himself to him repeatedly at age 10, a friend’s mom pressured him to take a bath with her son at age 7, and my mother pressured him not to tell anyone.

He attempted suicide at age 10, and the school counselors were no help at all and kept saying “mothers are saints blah blah blah”
