'Trigger Warnings' and 'Safe Spaces' When Conservative Speaks on Campus

I find "triggered" or "trigger warning" to be one of the most overused word/phrase(s). It's a bullshit term used in an attempt to censor opposing views or even discussion. Bad stuff happens to everyone. Want to get over it? Face it. Hiding doesn't fix anything.

It seems that the best defence these people have is to shout everyone who's more than a degree off their line into silence.

How in the name of all that's Holy have I managed to live 60 years without safe spaces? How come every time I encounter a "trigger" I just have to ride it out as best I can? How can we be expected to treat people as adults if they need to be protected from "triggers" by hiding in safe spaces every time they encounter a conflicting opinion?
