I find the "right/GQP" abhorrent. At the same time, I find the extreme left/Feminst types abhorrent. That said, my right-leaning friends (old-school, not GQP/Trumpists that I refuse to give the time of day) and I have FAR more in common politically. I really think that the "normal" people in the US are much closer than they realize. The problem is the steady diet of misinformation and outright lies mostly from the right-wing media outlets. Not sure what we can do other than keep advocating. I li…

Wow. The whining in that sub is unbelievable. "Reddit hates women" is a constant comment when the reality is opposite. Women are becoming what they have rallied against. Guess it's inevitable.

What definition of "mature". They biologically mature sooner. As far as personal development, I haven't noticed an overall difference.

So we have two groups of people. Let's say little boys and little girls. There's a cult who cuts off the first finger on the right hand of the little girls, but only the tip to the first joint on the little boys. Which should we stop from happening?

Even court officers and whisteblowers have shared on multiple occassions that child support agencies act in sometimes vinctive ways for their own purposes. This is 1000% true. I had a buddy a few years ago (I've moved) who worked for child support enforcement. He was the only male in the entire department. The stories he would tell. Gossipy, vindictive women taking the law into their own hands. He was all the time telling them that they would get in trouble, but they never did. They aren't suppo…

I don't know a SINGLE guy who fits the feminist fantasy "shitty husband" they all claim to have. I know a lot of guys from a lot of walks of life. They are all heavily involved in their family life and actively participate in all aspects of childcare and home upkeep and cleaning. I'm pretty sure that the Internet has given women the ability to get attention/sympathy from the world in a new way. This is one way I have seen women behave pre-internet, my ex-wife being the prime example. Long story …

Another radfem apologist citing legal fine points. Fact of the matter, a woman CAN rape a man. Erections can be from arousal or stimulus. Men can't control that. Being made to penetrate is rape. Same with this situation. Consent was revoked the minute the condom came off. Rape.

There are a LOT more women doing this than society is willing to admit. All that bullshit "Bears" stuff is just more manipulation. And they will keep getting away with it because we have to "protect women". Women are human. They are rapists, abusers, grifters, thieves, and general awful people JUST as much as men are. They're just a lot better at it than men. And have convinced society that they're innocent and weak.

I don't know that I'd look specifically for a male lawyer. I've seen some women lawyers who chomp at the bit for this kind of thing. Not all of them are blind to the shitty system.

Here in the US, child support is non-taxable. The paying parent pays the taxes on the child support, so the man pays more in 90% of situations. Looks like the Orange Cheeto and the Maga Gang changed how alimony works at a Federal level "starting from January 1, 2019, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) eliminated the tax deduction for alimony payments for agreements entered into after December 31, 2018." but States still do their own thing. In California, you'd pay taxes to the Feds, but not the St…

I don't put much value in your "use their pussy" theory. I do think that the long-term effect of ever-increasing female share of college graduation percentages is going to be a huge issue. 60% of grads are women now. Men are staying home because they can no longer earn the money required to move out. Hard to "use the pussy" to get a house when you're the one earning the money in the relationship. This all starts LONG before girls are at the "use their feminine wiles" stage. We need to fix educat…

Again, no one can even agree on what "woke" is. All I see is a way to distinguish what someone's politics are by how they talk about it. The people who have the weirdest, obviously undefined views are generally Trump followers.

I see a lot of comments here about "I'd rather invest that money myself". The whole point was to be stable. Is the program perfect? No. But gifting that money to Wall Street for the average person would be a huge mistake. The entire point is to keep that money safe and hopefully keep seniors off the streets. We don't need another 2008 to wipe out retirement savings.

I regularly read about example after example where for some reason everything government in the USA is designed to make some private person or company rich off of tax payers And it's the same kind of incentive for everything you hear from conservative sources. Let's privatize everything (so we can fleece you). Let's do school vouchers (fuck everyone else's kids as we de-fund public schools). Taking out the profit incentive is a big deal. So "We see more data points that seem to indicate that this "male lonliness" thing might be valid" is interpreted as usual for anything that might benefit men at the expense of no one else. Well, at the expense of them maybe not being so shitty to men. So that will never happen.

I worked a job with about 95% men. IT 25 years ago, so go figure. There were 2 women in our group who were VERY vocal about never wanting to work in a majority female environment ever again. They told many stories about the pointless drama that just bubbled up constantly. Backstabbing. Cattiness. Jealousy. I've never been in an environment like that and I never would want to be.

Probably very simple. They are master manipulators. The authorities are already conditioned to protect and believe women. All you have to do is turn on the "poor innocent woman bystander" act. If you're even caught up as a bystander.

Men getting away with it too isn't the point. Women also get a sentence about half the rate men do. And when they do get a sentence, it's about 20% of what a man would for the same conditions. This violent cunt just got told by the court's actions that her actions were excuseable. A stern scolding by the judge is too little too late at this point.

Roid rage is 100% a myth. They test aggressive people and find high T. They then assume that aggression = High Testosterone. Then they test other people with lower T. Then test them after stressful situations and discover that stress/agression stimulate Testosterone production. No one cares because everyone already knows "roid rage" is a result of too much T. Instead of the result of super aggressive personality.

Tell the story. It can have lessons about morality or equality or whatever. Just don't beat us over the head with it. That's one of the things these female directors "with a mission" seem to miss. You can tell the story you want to tell, but if you treat the viewers as children you're not going to be successful. If you think that the people you want to get the message won't get it if you don't tape it to a 2x4 and hit them over the head with it, you're probably never going to get to that audienc…

T has exactly zero to do with being a rapist. After mine crashed, I can tell you that testosterone is a stabilizer, not something that makes you angry or unable to control yourself. I had way worse issues with anger and self-control when mine dropped out. Things like the fight-or-flight response also trigger a spike in T production. The problem is that it was assumed that this was a cause of violence instead of a side effect. A more aggressive person is going to have higher T because they trigge…

I have worked with women who worked in majority women environments. They have all given the same review that it absolutely sucked. Cattiness. Cliques. Backstabbing. Toxic. Sure, you get some of that with men, but we just typically don't work that way. Every one I spoke with about it preferred working in a more balanced or male-majority environment. I work in tech. Another factor is testosterone. Which is a contributor to violent behavior. I call bullshit. The only evidence is anecdotal, and studies have shown the opposite. in the last 50 years, what men want hasn’t changed I have to disagree with that. My kids (early 20's) grew up in a world where most kids in HS are at least overweight. My kids have never been overweight, but their groups of friends were about 80% overweight/obese. When you grow up and that is normal, a lot learn to be chubby chasers. Might also point out that every first world country has serious incentives for hiring women and PoC. I know my employer has been on a tear hiring that way. I've never worked somewhere with so many women in IT, or PoC. No issue with it, just new after a 30 yr career in IT. If she got passed over, it was for a serious qualification gap. Depends on the state. My ex re-married the day our divorce decree allowed it. 2 yrs later her new husband lost his job and they wanted to move. Fortunately for me, Alabama had changed the law about that particular situation in the prior decade. She had to prove that it was better for the children to move to Atlanta than to stay and have access to both parents. Being a very involved dad, it turned out to be a slam dunk. Stressful as all hell at the time, but she couldn't move them.

Men. Are. Disposable. That's society. Even the best of women see us as providers, protectors, servants, maintenance men - but never as humans with feelings. I know my family loves me. Even so, it is rare that they do things that would make my life easier. I come home to a dirty kitchen 5-6 days a week. I'm then expected to cook after a work day (sole provider here) which means I have to clean. Then maintain the cars, yard, house. Very rarely is anything done without me asking. It's exhausting. I…

Additionally, the speaker admitted they could now see more clearly why the suicide rate for men is "higher," though Barnes noted that it doesn’t negate the complaints the rest of society has about straight white males. It depends on the state - My former state - stepson's ex would go to DHR and file a form every time he missed his support payment or even short on it. Since there's already a court order for support, no lawyers/judges needed. DHR would issue a summons to court. If stepson showed up, he got locked up if he didn't pay. Completely fucked system.

One big reason is that men (esp white men) are their bugaboo. We're their Baba Yaga. Merely pointing out that men have a) their own unique issues and b) a lot of the same issues as women, destroys their narrative. The "men" that they parade as their enemy have to be this huge nebulous group. I let it be done to my son. I regret it more than about any other decision involving my children. (Other than marrying their mother, but then I wouldn't have them.) I found out about the history and lies about circumcision post-divorce on this subreddit. I have been quite vocal with the kids that it's a brutal, unneccessary practice.

No argument that circumcision is horrific for girls/women. I could have been clearer in my statement. I meant justification for male circumcision. Most of what I read are justifications due to very slight reductions in STD's based on a questionable study in Africa decades ago. Almost all of the arguments pro male circumcision are mitigated by behavior modification - wear a condom, clean your junk. But women in the US are all "uncircumcised is yuky" despite the fact that a lot of little boys get …

If women could get circumcised, there wouldn't... Oh, yeah. That's illegal. Bodily autonomy for me not for thee. I'd like to see the feminist crowd explain justification of circumcision using actual facts/science, not some poorly run experiment in Africa that seems to be the "standard" that passes for science in Feminism. But hey - equality amirite?

Is it really a surprise that a socialist government disagreed that men have human rights too? While I agree with the sentiment of the article, this is patently false. The US government has a pretty bad track record on human rights for men too. Exactly. The company I work for (Fortune 100) just got done with a big hiring binge. Not a single white person hired. As many women hired as they could justify. Meanwhile we're in an area where the demographic is probably 75+% white. They've been bending over backwards for a couple of years now to avoid white and/or male in a VERY male dominated field. I don't have an issue with hiring a qualified person, but we've gotten a very mixed bag as far as capability.

You're looking in the wrong places. Again - social media seems to be the trigger here. Walk away. If everyone you know is obsessed with looks, find new friends. Not saying it's easy. The answer is get fit. Don't worry about muscles. Being in shape brings confidence in your physical ability. That helps your brain/mind with confidence in other areas. I think the word you're looking for is egalitarian. "relating to or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities." Feminism isn't about that. Never has been despite the dictionary definition. Especially the "opportunities" part. So much feminist haranguing that I see revolves around getting privilege, but then complain about the accompanying responsibility and consequence.

Voting, like all things, should not be mandatory. You're correct. At the same time, states (or the GOP specifically) should not be doing everything in their power to make it more difficult to vote. There have been several Republican politicians who have outright said that if it's easier to vote, it disadvantages the GOP. That's a function of a broken platform and policy. Gotta say - there's no such thing as REAL feminist. Either egalitarian or nothing. Feminism has been about stomping on men for over a century (see the White Feather campaign of WWI). I get that most people who say they're feminist don't really understand what the policy-making/society-changing types in power are doing.

Male abusers outnumber female, the study said. But the number of reports of female educators charged with sex abuse of students is rising — not necessarily because there are more women abusing children, but because they’re getting caught, some experts say. The problem isn't income as much as wealth. The top 20% in the US own over 86% of the wealth. They do as much as they can to avoid taxes. Say you are walking around a corner and they're standing there and you put your hand on their back to stop from running into them. They can interpret it how they like, but if they don't say "Hey, I don't like being touched", there's not a case for harassment.

You know, I would have thought the same. I was married for 17 years. Every one of our friends thought we were the relationship that would never end. I thought the same. Then she ripped my guts out and used the courts to take the kids she never wanted. All kinds of stuff came out during our divorce. Things she never showed or talked to me. No one, even her friends, knew. Even her friends took my side. I am remarried, but it's VERY difficult. I question everything now. After 20 years with someone …

I live in middle Alabama in a town of 15,000 people. The population is about 60/40 white/black. I've lived here for almost 15 years and I can't wait to get out. Ignorance is collective and no observer of race or gender. I have met more "proudly uneducated" white people here than black by quite a margin. There are plenty of willfully ignorant people of all races. Now I will agree on females being given a general attitude of entitlement. Once again, not constrained by racial boundaries.

Am I misreading this? Not only is it abuse, but if she's doing it in front of her co-workers, she's fishing for sympathy from them. She's making you look like the abuser. Next step is a sexual assault or rape accusation. RUN. Do not walk. Get out of that situation as fast as you can. Document your injures as well. I speak from experience. I am circumcised. I agreed to have my son circumcised. For a hundred years now, it has been "normal" in the U.S., and probably other countries, to get circumcised. men's rights activists dismissing women's rights issues as non issues. I disagree completely. Anyone who has spent a lot of time here has seen that we don't disagree that women have their own issues/problems. Where we disagree is the problems women have. For instance, Feminist doctrine would have you believe that there is a huge wage gap and there is a rape epidemic. Both provably false. On the other hand, Feminists categorically deny that men have any problems that aren't a result of "The Patri…

IMO this is short-sighted. If mom is this useless, baby won't remember it. If mom straightens out her act, he could be in control and allow access. This is still nothing more than slightly better than status quo. It should begin at 50/50 and go downhill for the demonstrably worse parent from there.

Your first mistake was getting a girl pregnant at 18. The second was repeating the first mistake. Now you have to find a way to make it through the next 16 years without becoming homeless. Good luck. Where the frustration (and quite often, rage) comes in is that the feminist machine denies that there are ANY issues that men face that they shouldn't just "man up" about because of "privilege". Feminists also blow many things way the hell out of proportion - rape statistics and wage gap being prime examples. Then when called out on the fallacies or outright lies, they attempt to shout us down. Want to know who runs things? Find out who yo…

$1500/mo to offset the support she has to pay the step-son's bio-dad? WTF? She makes MORE than enough to pay the pittance of support herself. There is ZERO reason the guy should have to, basically, pay his Ex's Ex for a child that he has no relationship with, biological or otherwise.

Bullshit. How is silence, or "I'm believing her because she's female" reasonable? He could have gone on a serious attack on any point. He doesn't. He doesn't raise his voice. He asks questions. It boggles my mind that so many here are pushing the feminist narrative merely because a man is questioning a woman. Had that been a man sitting across from him, you'd be ridiculing the male feminist. Get over it.

"Aggressive"? She's friendly, but stuck on her obviously broken feminist mantra. Every time a man is firm with his views, evidence-based and logical, he's labeled aggressive. Guess what? It's not aggressive, it's correct. Dude was nice. Questioning someone isn't being mean or aggressive, it's questioning. You're falling for the feminist propaganda that any opposing viewpoint is misogyny. It's not.

He's lucky enough to have had his wife die and have the opportunity to rise to the challenge. The rest of us get to deal with our exes using the state to steal our kids childhood and a big chunk of our income. Want time to spend with your daughter? Sorry, you've got to be at work to pay the state-mandated theft.

You aren't given the breaks (some government mandated) that women are. Employers somewhat expect mothers to take time with kids. Fathers don't usually get the same consideration. Fathers that insist on it will often find their progress/promotion stifled.

Certainly - without faith, this life is the only shot you have. There are many societies that have historically not been strongly religious, but take their word/honor more seriously than their own life. Scarier still, to those of us that aren't religious, is that the only thing keeping so many people from lying/stealing/rape/abuse/murder is the threat of hell in the afterlife. Basically, "Do unto others..." is really the only rule you need. Being shitty to other people makes you a shitty person.

I agree with the "Get a Lawyer" That said - you're screwed. Get used to a big chunk of your income going to "support" your child. She holds all the cards, especially during the baby years. Probably the best you can do is to keep her from moving. Maybe. Your financial security is a perfect lure for the Family Court to garnish your wages as an instant deadbeat. That way they get more Federal matching funds.

The policy should be that no one be named until proven guilty. It would prevent the devastation of those that are innocent. False accusers, proven false by confession or evidence with malice, should be named, shamed, and jailed. They hurt the real victims by clogging up the system and making it harder to be believed.

Kids of single moms are a total crapshoot. You just don't know what you're getting. I love my wife, but I lost on the stepson. There was a lot of grief when she spent most of his teenage years slowly coming around to my point of view on him. He's a lying, manipulative, drug-abusing, thief. Total sociopath. Yet she's like a second mother to my kids. I hate it for her, and get that he's her little boy. But he can never come home again. He'll never be trusted in our home again.

Women have been told for the last 30-40 years that they can "have it all". A non-insignificant percentage, probably a majority, will resort to batshit crazy to get what they want. it's the complete opposite of most people's experiences You're not exaggerating. from AVFM What are the percentage of the homeless that are men? A) Find another job. B) Look up the laws in your state. If you live in a single-party state, bring up the subject again and get your management on tape telling you you can't work behind the bar because you're male. C) Turn in your notice. On your way to the new job, turn over a copy of the tape to whichever department in your state deals with sex discrimination and file a complaint.

I hate to be cold on Father's day, but likely if your siblings are all by different fathers, your mother is feeding you a line of bullshit about your father. Take a brand-spanking-new person. They're all different, but they have ZERO experience with anything, pain included. Cut off part of an organ that has one of the highest (if not the highest) concentrations of nerve endings in the body. Some may not be developed enough to have it really affect them (that's what our doctor told us - the nerves aren't developed enough yet). My experience is that my son came back a different person. He screamed for hours until he passed out. He didn't have any issue…

This is what I consider weasel-wording a shift from common law presumptions favoring maternal custody to statutory recognition of joint custody I'm starting to see lawyers refer to this as equality. Even though men in EVERY state (including Texas) get the shaft when it comes to primary physical custody. There's no way in an equal world that women should be getting primary physical custody 80% of the time. The legal types pretty much have the attitude "you got joint custody - you won!" even thoug…

Work in a hospital here. Same situation. And - We're seeing the number if men in management plummet. I don't mind a female manager if she's competent and stable. I just haven't found that many that fit the criteria. And I'm not saying there aren't plenty of men who are examples of incompetence rising to the top. It just seems that most female management styles tend to not work in the IT world.

Got news - primary custody is all that really counts. Yes, shared-non-primary gets you more access, but it makes little difference in the end. Schools and teachers are still reluctant to include you in communications. Other parents tend to dismiss you at best, distrust you at worst - usually falls somewhere in between. Primary custody also gets you the tax benefits from child tax credits AND you don't pay taxes on the Income (come on, it's income) you get from your ex as "child support". It puts…

While the statement doesn't seem over the top, the venue is wrong. It really belongs as an offline conversation between parents, not a "public" statement. I know a lot of single mothers who only say no if they don't have the money for something (despite being quite well funded via government sponsored robbery of their ex-spouse).

You lack experience. Youth helps in avoiding the "pedo stare". Women are so paranoid about this, and to a lesser extent, men. It drives me crazy. IIRC, women are more likely to be pedo's than men in the first place.

Really??? The Tea Party Extremists who are wrecking the GOP are EXACTLY like this. It's one thing to be conservative, but damn! You could reasonably compare them to the Big Red Scare McCarthyists of the 50's. I personally can't take anything a politician says at face value to begin with. Nowadays, any Republican candidate seems to have some extreme far right fundamentalist agenda guiding them. It's ridiculous. I'm ashamed I'm even associated with them by voting record.

I'm going to warn you here. My wife (#2) and her sister grew up without a father. Mother never even dated. They have no clue about men. Both had a long string of relationship/marriages. Here's the major complication - they only had boys. All of those boys are severely screwed up from growing up without a strong male role model and mothers who never knew what one was to begin with. I wish them luck. Typically in trying to bring down any judge, you're going to have a bad time trying to convince one of his peers to do it. Just like police. There's a "thin blue line" for cops. Guess it's a "thin black line" for judges. Reading the "Arrest Proof Yourself" ebook. It's obvious that we are all just points. The more parents (read: primarily men) that they collect child support from, the more points (read: Federal matching dollars) they get. Simple math.

http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/expanding-government-on-the-backs-of-child-support-payers/ I don't know about elsewhere, but here in Alabama, they label you a "deadbeat" automatically. The court collects the money and disburses it to the mother. This then inflates the dollar amount they're collecting to get the matching Federal money. There is only incentive to raise support guidelines. None to make it fair and equitable.

You're not alone. I didn't have problems on your scale. I did have the judge tell me that I was the best father he'd seen in 26 years on the bench, then give my ex custody. Which is why many many laws should be revoked. If they're unenforceable and can't be tried, they shouldn't be on the books. Total ethical breach of trust. There is no way a gap from 23 to 15 is in any way justified or ethical.

The problem appears to be that when they organize, mob rule takes over and they turn into man-hating orgs similar to NOW. Girlwriteswhat is probably the clearest head in the room when it comes to equality. Love her stuff.

And the fact that she won't look at the evidence puts the lie to her being a skeptic. She's a hypocrite.

I'm amazed the judge even gave you the option. In my case (small-town Alabama, fucking hate it here) they never even offered to let me write my own checks. Criminal/deadbeat right off the bat. If I had been writing my own checks, I'd be about $9000 better off by now. I'm still paying for daycare even though she pulled them out of day care 4 months after the divorce was final. Judge could care less.

Most (I won't say all because I'm sure there are a few exceptions to prove the rule) women feel that way. My Ex truly believed that she was in the right, it was my fault that she had sex with an old friend of ours. She deserved house/cars/child support even though she never cooked a day in her life or put the kids to bed, read to them, played with them. They feel entitled because they are women/mothers. Modern feminism at its finest.

Actually, the US has paternity leave time if you use your FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act). What it does not do is make sure you get paid for your time off. I saved vacation time and cash for the birth of both of my children. 6 weeks each. Best time of my life. Getting equal bonding was awesome.

I think perhaps it is situational. Most women wouldn't normally do something like that. They get in a particular situation and desperation/greed/hormones/whatever has them making poor/evil decisions that they would normally not make. Kind of the same situation where an anti-abortion bible-thumper protests against abortion on a regular basis, gets pregnant, and realizes she cannot handle the situation and has an abortion.

I have yet to meet "nice" feminists. They might think they are, but when challenged, get ugly. Why is it that any woman can walk into a police station, go in front of a judge, and without proof, get a restraining order against any man? This is not conjecture. This is fact. My stepson has a friend who is doing community service and 6 months probation because his younger sister made wild allegations about him and their stepfather. All disproven, admitted lies. Yet his punishment is for "pulling he…

That's the whole point of the article. News media is generally highly biased when it comes to a man winning in Family Court. The question is "What's the rest of the story?"
/r/MensRights13/01/12 06:54 PM

It isn't even his poor luck to go in front of the man-hater judges. Even a well-intentioned judge always leans heavily towards the mother. Add the systemic bias in both child support and domestic violence laws. A man can NOT win unless the woman really screws up.

You need to research your state's laws on recording conversations. Both face-to-face and telephone. Record everything you can. You need her recorded saying this shit. Email would be effective too. Women like this deserve to be thrown UNDER the jail. Be patient, record a LOT. Don't go off just one conversation if you can help it. Make a hand written log of every conversation, every threat. Times, dates. Judges like that. Remember, you go into the court room at least 60/40 behind. (if not 80/20). …

While I don't believe these "baby mamas" deserve the outrageous money he's paying, the dude has brought this shit on himself. He's an outrageous asshole. I live in his hometown. He's not welcome here. He made an ass of himself demanding a statue in his honor. He let his ego run wild, then got bounced around the NFL and wouldn't show a lick of self-control. Dude is an ass.

I'd be curious to see how those countries are on fair sentencing and legal rights for men vs women. If they are "more feminist" but also willing to hold women accountable and offer men equal protections in Family Court then they are giving people Equal Rights, not "more feminist".

There is also the possibility that she was ALREADY pregnant and used you as the chump. At the end of the day, if it comes down to it, DEMAND paternity testing.

Exactly. This is the roadblock for us. We've known each other since high school, but got married after 25 years and some bad relationships on both sides. We have no reason not to trust each other, but the experiences of the last 25 years have built walls between us. She's got a jealous streak a mile wide, I can't trust (not jealous, just everything from feelings to money I have difficulty sharing)

I think there's more to Jimi's song than Carrie's. Jimi's song is sad and blues-ey, but it has consequences tied to the action. "Hey Joe, where you gonna run to now?" I'm goin' way down south, Way down to Mexico way Alright! I'm goin' way down south, Way down where I can be free Ain't no one gonna find me Ain't no hangman gonna, He ain't gonna put a rope around me You better believe it right now I gotta go now Hey Joe, you better run on down Good bye everybody Hey Joe, uhh Run on down

Watching the effect it had on my infant son made me a believer. The doc claims they can't feel much. Bullshit. He was quiet and happy the first 24hrs of his life. He screamed for hours after the circumcision. Don't trust the people who have a financial interest in selling your son's foreskin.

Yep - My son was quiet and happy for the first day of his life. Doc said "The nerves aren't fully formed down there yet, he won't feel it". The boy screamed for hours and was a different child afterward. When he's older and ready for his own kids, I'm going to talk to him about my experience as a parent and the guilt I carried for having it done to him. Don't forget that the docs & hospitals also make money selling the foreskins to cosmetics companies.

Came here to say similar. Every dollar they collect is another dollar matched for the FC's "budget". It's all a big scam.

Actually, she should have. Merely being the getaway driver still puts you on the hook for bank robbery. Being involved at all makes you part of it. This still sounds like a female getting a pass. Had there been another guy non-shooter with them, I doubt he'd have gotten off with only 5 years. Feel pretty confident he'd have been doing the same time as the shooters.

Too bad this kind of accusation is likely to backfire. Either being laughed out of the police station, or having them file rape charges against the man.

I read some of the threads there. Total troll subreddit. EVERY post by the mods disregards any discussion. There is no viewpoint except men are wrong and always rapists. Men are oppressors because they have a penis. There are no redeeming factors about men. Fuck 'em

I watched one of my closest friends go through a divorce. The judge F'ed him over so hard it wasn't funny. He was a dedicated father and family man, and his ex has crushed him with debt and poisoned his daughters' minds against him. He hasn't seen them in 8 years (partially because he gave up, partially because he had to move across country to keep a job). Then came my divorce. My wife birthed the babies, but that pretty much ended her involvement with the children other than playing transportat…

About an amazing man. As a trained veteran, he could have chosen a much more violent path. Granted, he advocated destruction in his final letter, but didn't take that path himself. All of us who have been processed by the system know his frustration to some degree. It has been 5 years for me and I still cry every time I have to take my children back to their mother. There isn't any replacing the time lost with them.

You do realize that you are the extreme minority of cases? Also (not trying to defend a deadbeat) you will probably never get the truth out of either parent. Your mother may have told him to stay the hell away, blackmailed him, etc. you never know. Most fathers are responsible, good human beings. What we go through in divorces nowadays is hell. I came close to giving up many times. I kept losing. Kept getting beat down. I'm treated as an afterthought by all aspects of the community. It is a cons…

Got some news - I sued for custody too. Tried really hard to get an even split, but the ex wasn't hearing it. We ended up in court where we dragged her and her useless lying family up and down the court and STILL ended up losing my kids and paying the bitch $1000/mo. Living the dream indeed. I would kill for that much time with my children.

She probably waited to accuse him of domestic abuse till after they got to court. The only abuse going on is emotional abuse of the TV viewers. Surely if she was really being abused, she could have gotten a restraining order and had him strung up and gutted by the system on no evidence but her word.

It's a shame that a man had to die, in order for the woman to learn how stressful the state can make it on a man, at her request. I think this is about the ONLY way women learn what they do to men when they wield the legal system against us. I've been on that edge. It's been 5 years and my Ex treats me like a servant when the kids aren't around. I am a means to a more comfortable life and that is all. She makes it nearly impossible for me to look on women as anything but spoiled entitled childre…

I believed marriage was a partnership. Trusted my wife 110%. After I divorced her for cheating on me with a friend, I had my ass handed to me in court. She was the one working 80hrs a week while I did most of the parenting and child care. She admitted it in court too. Didn't matter. According to Family court, young children always belong with their mother. I died that day. Had it not been for a couple of friends who drove halfway across the country, I would probably not be here. It's been 5 year…
