Unfortunately, suppose the person who took your information seriously considered it and wanted to propose adding it in, it's likely the publication will never see the light of day in that format, because it breaks the ongoing conversation through psychology and women's studies disciplines that men are in power in every facet of life and do not face challenges like women do, or that there are even places where men are more challenged than women (in a way that might paint women in a less flattering light).

We can say "women have more EQ, which is why they're better at relationships" because it paints men as 'stupider' on some front. We can't say "women have more power in relationships due to their market value, which is why they seem to do better in realtionships" because it casts women in a less flattering light. To the acivists, its only one step away from outright misogyny by saying that women manipulate men through their sexuality (Esther Vilar, the manipulated man).

Women might do better in relationships due to men and women's ingroup and outgroup preference FOR women over men, such that men will 'pull their punches' when there's an argument, and women will 'make up' with other women in order not to have discord among the ingroup of women.

Thus, what appears to be women being superior at EQ could be merely the result of them being less critically accosted in social relationships.

Its like this: Women and feminist psychology says women have superior EQ. But, at least according to JP, EQ doesn't exist. And the purpose of EQ is this: to understand others' motivations, to be able to 'read minds', etc.

And yet women are ALWAYS in fear of a strange man at night, regardless of his intentions or his personality. And women are subject to the 'halo vs horn effect' just as men are. Women fear violence despite being less targeted by it. This doesn't sound like high EQ to me.

However it has been promoted for at least a decade to imply "women are superior to men in this regard".
