I was in my local country courthouse and saw this brochure from county family services, it’s about domestic violence and on the front is a man! I thought it was awesome to see!

The text reads: “Domestic Violence does not discriminate!
Just because I'm male doesn't mean she can't hurt me.
I'm human too.
But no one believes me.”

I then look inside and find an oval with 8 sections around “Power and Control” and one of the sections literally says “Male Privilege”. Not kidding.

They didn’t actually care, I’m sure they’d frame it in some way to make it SEEM like they do, but they don’t. Calling an abused man to help him yet you view him as having privilege. “It’s not HIM but those OTHER guys, the abusers.” Bullshit
