I think I understand why some issues are considered offensive.
Just look at this. A Harvard president claim that there are simply fewer women in science than men. He is latter forced to step down because of his opinion.
https://www.theguardian.com/.../educationsgendergap...
But why vilifying him? If he is wrong, if there are say, as many women with IQ higher than 130, than say, men, why not just show the statistic?
If women are indeed as ambitious as men, and can reproduce by just squirting sperm and hence saving time that they could have used to make more money, why not just show it? Why call people misogynists?
A few years ago, I was scammed. Basically an insurance is sold in package with investment. The package has fees. The fee is 100 times the price of normal term insurance, which, in Indonesia, is already around 10 times the price of Singaporean ones.
So it's a bad insurance and a bad investment. The only reason why I buy it is because I want to invest money and told the agent I want a little insurance, the rest are invested. The agents, which are also my lawyers, basically told me all money are infested.
Of course, I wouldn't buy it if I knew about the hefty (around $3500) fee. However, the fee is hidden that most people don't see that. Agents just say all money are "invested". Simply not telling the fee.
I thought the agents can bullshit all he wants and I will just read the rules and don't buy. Of course, the insurance company is in cahoots. The fee is hidden. The regulator is also in cahoots. They know what the insurance companies are doing. Instead of preventing fraud, they prevent cost effective insurance from being sold through regulation.
For the same reason, many people have agenda that if they said explicitly and clearly, almost nobody will agree.
Almost nobody want to actively discriminate against men. Most people are against discrimination.
So? So they confuse you. They use terms whose meaning is vague.
In my insurance case, they said all money are invested. In what way all money are invested if more than half go to fees? Is it a fraud? Lawyers say no. Most customers say yes.
In feminism, they talk about men being "privileged" by "patriarchy". But what the fuck is privilege and patriarchy? Can this even be scientifically tested?
If we have higher IQ, is it privilege or just genetic advantage? Should government fix it?
If I can pee while standing, is it privilege or just genetic advantage?
Who the fuck know because the definition of privilege, by itself, isn't clear.
So, naturally people ask questions where the issue is clear.
In my insurance case, many people ask in forums. What is the fee of this package? Where is it written? Simple questions that they can answer publicly. Obviously the company does not want to explicitly and clearly disclose that they have huge hidden fees.
So they keep mumbling around answering other things. About how this is the fault of the agent for not explaining the benefits, or how this package will benefit customers on long term.
Another bullshit I must say. Bullshit that, in a sense, not even wrong. Too meaningless. For example, even a scam investment can be profitable if you put more money into a normal investment and wait "long term". So any investments, even bullshit one, can be thought of as profitable "long term"
But if we pressure and ask clearly, how much is the fee, where the fuck it is written, they don't answer. They want to push such discussions out of public.
And that's how feminism, BLM, and socialism work.
If you ask, how many women have higher IQ than 130? How many black people have IQ than 130? How does, adjusted for IQ, relate to number of say, top programmers?
How many black people shot by cops? Is it really more than whites if we adjust for numbers of them actually doing violent crimes?
How many women are really paid lower? Are women really paid lower than men if we adjust for difference of productivity?
Notice, free market itself is very hostile toward racism and sexism. If, as a businessman, I hire whites instead of blacks due to racism, I will make less money. My competitors that see people having to sell themselves lower due to anything but productivity will simply higher workers with lower pay.
Ask feminists about it and they basically mumble about things that are "complicated". That we got to see intersection this, intersection that.
Then they call you misogynists, racists.
They want to make things muddy. When issues that make everything crystal clear is being asked, suddenly, they just avoid talking.
They don't want anyone to talk about it in public. If I were wrong, if this Harvard professor, president, is wrong. Why not just say that he is wrong and where he is wrong? Why all the misogynists accusation? Why the name calling? Why the ad hominem attack?
It's because they want things to keep being muddy so they can keep bullshitting the mass.
Anything that's close to the truth is politically incorrect. Scammers and fraudsters will do anything that helps people see ah, this is the problem.
Now, even if I think women are dumber than men, again, I don't think that way. Say I think women are dumber than men. Am I a misogynist? It wouldn't make sense right? I am at most, just wrong.
Just thinking that someone may be, statistically dumber doesn't mean I hate that person. I myself is dumber in interpersonal skills. It took me years and years to understand what I just wrote. Everyone else act like they know it all along but never tell me directly.
