When I was 17 I made the decision to save sex for marriage. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I also knew that the wait would be worth it. I am now 2 years into waiting. When I started this journey I had no idea how much bullying, harassment and ridicule I would receive for my decision to wait. I often felt isolated and wondered where I might be able to meet compassionate likeminded individuals who shared my values. I knew that unless I could find a man who was just as committed to waiting until marriage as I was, that this journey would only be twice as hard. When I realized that such a place did not exist, I decided to create one.

Here at r/SavingSexForMarriage, we recognize that in any relationship, it is essential that both you and your partner are on the same page. We created this community to help you meet likeminded individuals who share your values.
