I’m new to this sub, been generally trying to get a feel for the discourse online about gender issues. One thing has become fairly apparent.

Everyone hates each other.

It truly feels that simple. I don’t know why anyone would try to have a serious discussion about these very serious very emotional topics while having so much hate inside them. They’re not open and free flowing conversations meant to come to a middle ground or understanding, they’re just angry rants laced with statistics that are somehow supposed to sum up personal relationships?

In my humble opinion, from the beginning you must come with a mindset of love. If you do not feel a genuine desire to learn, understand and love your fellow human beings, you should figure out why that feeling is missing for you. I’m not saying that part is easy, but it feels non negotiable.
