I just watched a male "Mee Too" sympathizer get raked over the coals – which has me making my first post on MGTOW.

In fairness, the accurate comparison would be 'not all Chrstians'. Nazism was a movement, Islam is a religion. All Nazis were Christian - not true believers, of course, but you really couldn't get in if you weren't a caucasian Christian - but not all Christians were Nazis. Islam, on the other hand, is a religion followed by some 1/6 of the world's population. Most of them are just people, trying to get on with their lives like everybody does. Some minute percentage of them are in Isis and some of them hold sympathies with movements like Isis, but to allow that to reflect upon all of them would be a gross injustice.

What do you mean? There were plenty of other races that were National Socialists and fought alongside them. There were African, Asian, even Jewish "Nazis".

Or not all German's are Nazi

Isis is a mercenary army funded by Israel.

That would be one option. I don't see it as misguided to compare one ideology to another: the Muslim worship Allah, the National Socialist worship Hitler or Nietzsche. Not all Muslim are extremists, not all National Socialists are SS. You could even make a strong argument that many in Hitlers army or German citizens weren't aware of any atrocities, compared to every Muslim in the world knowing about the terror their extremists cause. But the liberal would expect the Nazi to shed all association with his ideology should they find out about "the ovens", and the same isn't expected of the Muslim, in fact they are embraced.

"Hitler noted that one of the three reasons why Nazi Germany had warm sympathies for the Arabs was: … because we were jointly fighting the Jews. This led him to discuss Palestine and the conditions there, and he then stated that he himself would not rest until the last Jew had left Germany. Kalid al Hud observed that the Prophet Mohammed … had acted the same way. He had driven the Jews out of Arabia"

Hitler is like the White man's Muhammed essentially according to Arab scholars of the day lmfao

what does this have to do with pussy pass?

anyway, judging people as individuals (not as a group) is a conservative position, not liberal

nationalist socialism is collectivism, just a right wing version of it. it is not conservative, or based on principles rooted in the rights of individuals

How do conservatives judge the individual over the group? All of their arguments are based the group - black crime rate, racial IQ, welfare recipients - all judged as a group :D

[–]brmlb 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

everything you gave as an example is from the low-IQ arguments on the internet or cable news between democrats and republicans. the bad meme is just another example of a /r/forwardsfromgrandma except from a pepe millennial

You choose to be a Nazi, you don't choose (well, for 99% of people) to be a Muslim. Slight difference there.

[–]Densemeister 8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You choose to stay a Muslim.

[–]Jolakot 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You don't choose to become a Muslim, you're born into it, and leaving warrents death. I wouldn't call that a choice.

[–]TinkieWinkieBag -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Leaving the religion you've been raised in isn't typically easy.

[–]thealtright 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not easy for Muslims because the punishment for leaving is death.

[–]Ryhlac 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The janitor at my elementary school had to flee because he became an atheist. According to him, you can't simply quit being a Muslim in certain countries. You have to either hide your religious beliefs (while pretending to follow theirs) or leave behind your country, your family, everything.

It makes me sad that I only understood his stories many years later.

[–]thealtright 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You do choose it's just that it's much more dangerous to leave than other religions.

[–]Jolakot 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, you're born into it and will likely be killed if you leave.

[–]None_And_Nothing[S] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

What are you talking about? One is a religion and one is an ideology, you can be born into both, into a family of both, and just as easily (or not) leave both. National socialism and its ideologies weren't just politically affiliated.

edit: I will give you that point, that leaving Islam is more difficult than leaving national socialism, but this misses the point of the message being that if liberals can understand the actions of certain of people within a group doesn't discredit the ideas of the group. So if a Muslim can say they condemn the actions of extremists but they still believe in their faith and wish to practice, then allow the Nazi to do the same by condemning the extremists SS troops and still practicing their belief in national socialism.

[–]Jolakot 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I guess there would be a tiny amount of people who don't choose to be Nazis if they were born into a family that held it above everything and would kill/disown you for speaking out against it, but by and large you're choosing a position that is neither encouraged or accepted by society. The consequence for becoming a Nazi is similar to the consequence of leaving Islam, social exclusion (and occasionally death).

We shouldn't leave Islam or national socialism (or communism for that matter) alone, because they're both terrible systems created by terrible people to give themselves as much power as possible.
