How can waitress live mostly on charity and they don't fight for better salary is beyond my understanding. And when something like this happens they are like "YOU SHOULD GIVE ME FREE MONEY!! NOT THE GUY THAT IM WORKING FOR!"

Bitch followed me out of a bar one night, had the balls to ask me why I didn't tip her:

- I had to get up and get my own beers because she was fucking off

- Took her 20 minutes to come and get my order

- Took another 40 minutes for her to deliver my wings

Her response: "We were busy."

Oh yeah? I was busy when I was at work, too, but I still managed to do my job.

This reminds me of a twitter debate after a restaurant owner who is a famous chef,he's British and has an Indian sounding name, bald and a bit mean on Chopped and Iron Chef. Anyway some American news channel posted a clip about tipping and he basically called the reporter out for promoting a culture of not tipping. The guy owns restaurants and basically admitted that he doesn't pay his wait staff enough and his customers must foot the bill.

PS. I am not against tipping in America because I understand why its done. I just find it infuriating that business owners have convinced their employees to demand the rest of their pay cheque from customers.
