Definitely agreed. It's sad that the word "patriarchy" has become such a buzzword it causes unrest just by hearing it.

I hope that we can also agree that the world is never composed of just one culture; it's a melting pot of every culture that rubs off of one another. As a result you can see similar (although FAR less rampant) anti-woman attitudes in countries that are relatively progressive like the US. You also see reactionaries who are against feminazis who make every woman look like an irrational nutcase, so they think THAT'S what feminism is/what all women are like. All the latter fail to acknowledge how far we have come in terms of rights for women, but it also distracts from social stigmas that women still face (like how women are "too emotional and dramatic", either a mega slut or a prude, etc). That sexism also puts men in a really shitty position because then they are expected to overcompensate by being emotionless, strong, tall, burly, expected to spread their seed like rabbits. An ideal world would be one where, penis or vagina, you can do and be what you're best natured for.

See? when someone asks you about real cases of cultural misogyny, you have to go to countries known for their violation of human rights.

Also, they also stone men in their honour killings, so they aren’t exclusive to women (although there are twice as many women victims)

In developed countries, though; there’s draft forced onto men, which means they can’t decide over their own bodies and life and have to give it to their countries; they get circumcised without their consent; they are not considered in the definition of rape even though there are plenty of men that are forced to have sex by women in some way or another.

So, quit being dishonest and admit that women in developed countries are usually protected under the law and their societies usually regard the as “inherently good”. And any intelligent person would qualify it as unfair

I'll agree with you that sexism in developed countries is WILDLY less severe than that in developing ones. Yes, women are absolutely protected by the law. The problem being addressed is apathy toward women. People rolling their eyes when a woman opens her mouth, people seeing women as either perfect goddesses or sex toys/personal chefs/dishwashers. Hell, even sexism between women exists! women can be extremely toxic and catty to one another for not being reserved enough. I know I was completely isolated from other women because I wasn't particularly feminine. With guys, they'd never let me play video games with them because they assumed id be shit just because I'm a chick. In CSGO lobbies I get told to go back to the kitchen or to send nudes the second I turn on my mic, there's a constant pressure to top frag out of fear that I'll be affirming their biases about women being shit at video games. Sure, it's funny The first few times but after 10 matches that shit gets old and annoying. Case and point, the law in the western world has nothing or very little to do with that kind of sexism. Under law, women are pretty equal to men (excluding abortion in some cases). It's the social sexism that new wave feminism tries to address.
