Yesterday a couple friends and I went to a local sports bar that is quite popular in the area. I see people here often who went to my school and there's obviously tons of other people to meet there Unexpectedly this girl l've known for a very long time caught my eye and I realized she had already noticed me. I don't think she expected me.to be in this kind of environment either. There were multiple times where I caught her already staring at me and a couple of times it was really obvious. I had a few other people tell me go and talk to her but my only issue was I didn't want to talk to this girl at a bar. I didn't want to be like any other guy who she has ran into there. I want to be different I guess. Keep in mind we are both 23. Ever since i saw her i feel like i got the wind knocked out of my chest and she has always made me feel like that. If I ever decided to ask her out, I would like it to be somewhere else. She's one of those people I just wouldn't want to mess up with. Did I make a mistake by not talking to her at a place like this? If not, how should I proceed properly?
