How to be the “goddess of fun and light” when it’s not your personality?I really think this is a futile endeavor. Whenever he gets caught at something, he knows he can put the blame on you for 'not being fun.' When the reality is that his interactions with her are baseline 'more fun' because none of them include children screeching in the background. And/or it's just a stupid excuse he's learned works on you because it's something you identify with | /r/RedPillWives | 30/07/24 09:28 PM

If you wouldn't normally and you feel dumb, do it anyway. Over time it may become natural. If you are scrolling on your phone and he talks to you, turn off the screen and look at him. Gaze into his eyes while he talks and think about what he is saying, rather than waiting for him to pause so you can say something. Try to get yourself into a good mood. | 20 | How to be the “goddess of fun and light” when it’s not your personality? She's honestly probably not a better personality than you, it's just that in marriage you have to tackle real life problems together like bills, child rearing, and household management. Some other person outside the marriage seems more fun because you never have to do boring or unpleasant things with them. He will always have an excuse as to why it's "ok" for him to reach out to her. You could try to be any person and he can claim someone else is xyz | /r/RedPillWives | 30/07/24 08:35 PM |

Imo, men who hide a disgusting personality reveal themselves when they feel their so is trapped. So I think the start of this rough patch was not him dropping a facade but rather him going through something. Due to it coming along years into marriage. | 3 | Authenticity to FemininityA lot of younger women fall victim to the 'cool girl' image. They love to say they're 'not like other girls.' They want to be seen and treated as one of the guys. Right now it sounds like you're turned off of the idea of the Captain/First Mate. Here's how I see it: you don't think he's worthy to be the head of your family. You thought he was worthy enough to marry and father your children. Why is he not worthy to be the leader of your family? | 1 | Excellent analysis of the "Duluth Model" and how it affects RP relationshipsWell, if you understand that the generally accepted signs of abuse include things that happen in your own relationship, or appear to happen, you won't be blindsided and have a better understanding of where friends and family are coming from if they ever voice concern. If you can see where they're coming from, you will have a better chance of discussing the issue without damaging your relationship. If you have a full understanding of the accepted picture of abuse, you can point out the ways you d… | /r/RedPillWives | 30/07/16 12:06 PM |
Excellent analysis of the "Duluth Model" and how it affects RP relationshipsYour comment covers the most important points relevant to our sub. I found it hard to be interested in the article but it is important to understand how people generally 'look for signs' of abuse. The wheel diagram is a joke, particularly the mention of 'giving an allowance' and 'reporting to welfare' My husband gives me money every time he gets paid. It's a set amount that he decides and adjusts from time to time. I certainly don't feel abused when he's handing over wages for which he toiled in… | /r/RedPillWives | 29/07/16 09:34 PM

Name one thing you'd like to change about yourself to improve your relationship?Yes /u/Risen_valkyrie and /u/Sunhappy _DC he actually said that he wants to hear those words more often and for me to initiate the "I love you"s more. If I want to guess, I think it is because now that my depression is under control, we are back to the flirting and fun we had as teens. And at that time I was so needy and would say it or text him all the time to relish hearing it back. Nothing wrong with wanting to feel needed, or wanting a little more of the girl he fell in love with back. | /r/RedPillWives | 28/07/16 08:33 PM

Name one thing you'd like to change about yourself to improve your relationship?I can agree that I need work on all the areas already mentioned but my husband recently "challenged" me. He said that I don't say "I love you" enough. That kind of thing gets stale to me. I tell him I need him, appreciate him, want him, depend on him and yes I say "I love you" but apparently not enough for his preference. I'm glad our relationship is at a point where he feels comfortable telling me I'm not fully meeting his needs. I aim to please this week and into the future! | /r/RedPillWives | 28/07/16 06:03 PM

If I have a bad morning or even a bad day, I can remember the times when every day was bad and see how much better things are getting. And the value of all the hard work I do every day. | 2 | Insulting a Man while Cultivating AdorationI think part if why the FW classes were so popular. You can get a whole lot more out of it with a room of people to discuss. Even after making this post, enlightening points were brought to my attention. As strange as it sounds, how to you respond when a cute kid does something sassy? You laugh! When they scream and cry, you get exasperated yourself. Our men naturally want to be our leaders and protectors. Violence against me (obviously swatting/spanking is okay but I have a limit) Unlawful use of drugs or any smoking/addiction to gambling Dead bedroom for any reason other than medical Treason against our country I think that's it... | /r/RedPillWives | 05/07/16 02:08 PM |
Week 3 Girl Game Challenge: Find a relationship MentorThat's beautiful! I'm ecstatic to hear about your success. I was feeling a little awkwardly stuck on how to broach the subject but your question is perfect | /r/RedPillWives | 02/07/16 11:28 AM
Week 3 Girl Game Challenge: Find a relationship MentorI already have two women in mind just from reading the challenge! I have a co-worker who I already try to emulate as I find her a compassionate, feminine, mature figure. I always email her for advice when I am dealing with a tricky interpersonal issue and her advice has never let me down. The other obvious choice is my Mother In Law. She is an angel, her husband adores her company, and they have a very healthy relationship (and sex life if you want tmi). I really need to go visit them. | /r/RedPillWives | 02/07/16 12:33 AM
What are your unpopular opinions?Even though I'm still with someone I dated as a teen, I recognize that it is extremely lucky and rare to find a high quality man young in life. I see a lot of my peers who married young and started popping out babies. The awful personalities that were spunky and "real" as hot bodied teens got old real fast when they became fat and disinterested in sex. I feel completely fortunate to have found a worthwhile man and have to agree that marrying young should no longer be the default. | /r/RedPillWives | 01/07/16 09:56 PM
WE'VE REACHED 500 SUBSCRIBERS!!!!Hello! Please call me Step or Steppie! I am 24, commonlaw married for 6 years. We incorporate a little of Taken in Hand and I study the ideals of Fascinating Womanhood. I did not really have any interest in RP ideas until I happened across this sub. I think I'm a compatible addition to this growing community! My husband has been a loyal, patient man through some highs and lows in my life. I started taking citalopram at the same time as I started studying Fascinating Womanhood and I can't tell wh… | /r/RedPillWives | 01/07/16 09:02 PM
What are your unpopular opinions? That's such a productive hobby! I personally don't wear silver rings because I'm rough on them and have had to have even gold ones repaired again and again. I have to look for sturdy-looking prongs and many of them... Now if I could make my own.. And as far as white rocks, I've got a beautiful CZ, will never buy a diamond though. | /r/RedPillWives | 01/07/16 06:28 PM
Thank you :)That was a helpful and wonderful comment all around. It makes sense to me that the most gung-ho members of our types of communities are actually the most willful, control freak, naturally naggy types of women. Simply because we start by driving our men crazy and then when we see the light and try the methods that actually work, it's like a storm has lifted and the whole world is beautiful and bright again. Actual doormats don't end up in our communities, they end up in unhappy marriages, the vic… | /r/RedPillWives | 01/07/16 04:17 PM
What are your unpopular opinions?Naturally and I'm sure his volunteerism adds up to be an honest day's work! | /r/RedPillWives | 30/06/16 09:30 PM
Do you believes SOs who want control over your activities/company are abusive? He's not trying to control her or abuse her at all. She failed to meet a very reasonable standard and he terminated the relationship. At six months in, trying to deal with a woman who can't get over her ex is just not worth it. I don't associate with any of my exes or any men who even make passes at me. Everyone can tell that I am committed and if they don't respect my relationship boundaries, they are not friend material. | /r/RedPillWives | 30/06/16 03:56 PM
TradLife: More Than Just Dinner on the TableThank you for sharing that lovely article. I find reading on the subject just good for the soul and terrific for my mood. I know that this is the attitude that creates lifelong love and a successful marriage and I love hearing when fellow women are living this way and doing so well | /r/RedPillWives | 30/06/16 02:31 PM
Thank you :)I find that my husband really takes my apologies to heart when I wait for him to come home from work, greet him enthusiastically, tell him to sit on the couch and tell him I need to say something. Then I kneel on the floor between his feet and put on my sweetest but serious voice, take his hand and tell him what I did wrong and how bad it makes me feel and promise to try to do better. That usually earns me a heartfelt hug and forgiveness... | /r/RedPillWives | 30/06/16 02:21 PM
Fascinating Womanhood Discussion!New here. I haven't bought the book just yet but I have been looking at blogs and reading the companion PDF and found it completely enlightening. I'm happier, my husband is responding quite well to my personal changes. I think it's time to take the leap and buy the real book... | /r/RedPillWives | 30/06/16 02:11 PM
