I see this book (and its predecessor) as the most thorough guide on how to understand and appreciate men. To me, it's not so much about learning techniques that "work", but getting a clearer picture of man's psychology and celebrating that. Those 5 words are pretty good summations of what's important to men, regardless of their reaction whenever you use them. However, I have been using them myself a lot over the past few weeks. I don't always notice a reaction from my husband, but when there is one, he seems to puff up quite a bit, especially when calling him a hero.

I am 50% into the book and can confirm that many of the teachings work. OP, you posted some time ago. Have you tried applying any of the teachings?

I saw this post and bought the book and you are right. It Is fascinating. I’m gathering that there is another one before it called keys to the kingdom that gives more basic information on the “course” that Claudia gave to Karen. I’m trying some of what I read as “research” .

I'm reading the queen's code, really enjoying it. It is fascinating . On the 5 words to use, what if it doesn't work? How can I go about it ? I think I'm a bit scared if I try and get discouraged if my partner doesn't notice or register the words like in the book.

Any examples how to use the words?
