This is simply a bad analysis. no one is looking down or criticizing others to boost their own self esteem here. It Is perfectly proper to look down on and judge people for poor behavior and bad character, it has nothing to do with self esteem.

The cult of nonjudgmentalism is partially to blame for the problems in our culture. Remember, the expression is "judge not lest ye be judged" and all of us here are prepared to be judged harshly as well
