Accept Your Life for What it is
I agree with this to an extent. It is not healthy to be jealous of other people.
However, it is very healthy to want different circumstances for yourself and to TAKE ACTION, through setting goals, acquiring knowledge and following through.
The problem with "acceptance" is that it can be interpreted as passivity. Passivity is always bad. When your body is passive it gets worse, when your mind is passive it dulls, your business is passive it loses.
Do not be envious, but do not be accepting and passive in regards to what you want from life. Real men ruthlessly set goals for what they want and follow through with action, do not accept mediocre.

You have to be able to take passive and active roles.
Like you gotta be able to be chill watching a movie and hanging out being passive.
AND
You gotta go to work hard to slay whatever your goals are.
Passive states are when you make your gains provided you are truly active in your active time.

Along the same lines, if you haven't read Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, you really should do that right now. This is the wisdom of the ancients that has been all but forgotten in our feminized society:

I have read him before. I feel it is time for a re-read. One of my favorite books :)

Yeah, it's been a long time for me as well Every time I come across anything by him, it still seems extraordinarily profound.

It's not terrible advice, but it's kinda feel-good stuff that doesn't really add to the conversation. Sorry.
I should have marked it off topic. I see your point, it isn't written for a red pill audience in mind. I wrote all up and figured people would get some value out of it here also. I am big into understanding both sides of the spectrum myself.

I like the 4th point you made. I tend to get bitter when I see women acting the way they do.
Also a little egotistical then when I get proven I'm not the center of the world it's like a big wake up call. It's like a roller coaster. One minute I'm happy as can be care free and not giving a fuck then all of a sudden my ego gets the best of me and I think everyone should see how awesome I am. It's like a validation roller coaster. Fuck.
Needing validation is fine, just make sure you are getting it from diverse sources so no one person controls a significant portion of it.
Also try to be the source of your own validation. I love reading my own writing and looking at pictures of myself to pump my state.

Remember that most people feel good about themselves when they do something nice for others.
"Nice Guys?"
Hmmmmmm...

The point about selfishness is the most valuable one here, sometimes it's best to be selfish and in doing so focus on yourself, because it allows you to spend time giving value to yourself (eg. getting enough sleep, going to the gym, getting work done).
With time people will come to value your attention more, because it isn't something you have given away freely, and they'll want to bbe associated with you because you've taken time out to become a worthwhile human being.
It's a strange phenomenon..
You'll notice that selfish people are sometimes pursued more because to gain their recognition can be seen as an achievement, whereas selfless people are often abused because they give too freely

Posts like this are just noise,
discuss

Eh, it's a little cliche, but accurate. The fourth point is the most interesting and a harsh truth that many people will have a hard time accepting. Every relationship is a trade in some fashion. Unconditional love doesn't exist in this universe.
Your post was shit and added nothing by the way, discuss.

harsh truth that many people will have a hard time accepting Jeez, this became pretty apparent when i was 15. Pretty obvious stuff. People ought to stop posting dumb lists like this, ideas like these are far better expressed by authors like Seneca, and if you haven't read any stoic philosophy, your time would be better spent reading Meditations than posting these inane lists with awful prose

hahaha I actually agree with you a lot
I am just starting out writing, I've only been at it a month or so. I am flattered I would be even considered for a comparison between the great authors.
I don't like the # of tips to do X posts myself but I tried it out for the sake of trying out a format I wouldn't normally use.
