The movie is doomed to fail. Because a) a remake appeals a good deal to former viewers which are males. The little kid who saw GB in the 90s or 80s. A sodomized version has no appeal.

b) females are herd driven and because women are not really into fantasy or si-fi which does not feature a romantic story even they will not go to the movies.

So it has to be misogny.

It never was misogynistic, they are using it as a shield because they may have made a bad movie. When the only reason to make the movie is because of the sex of the actors that really is a bad reason. Also pandering to SJWs always fail because they have no follow thru, they raise a stink but most are to fat to leave their house or fit in chairs

The failure of the new Ghostbusters movie has nothing to do with "misogyny". Misogyny is the hatred of women. Fans aren't outraged because the lead roles are played by women and they hate women. No; if that were the case men would be rioting in the streets with every new Sex and the City.

It's because an existing beloved franchise with a strong male cast has been picked up and gender-swapped for the sole purpose of shafting whatever pathetic dregs are left of western male identity. Dry-heaving beta males will stagger in to TRP from feminist efforts, not ours.

If you want to see hatred of women, look no further than any womens' advice subreddit. Women are encouraged to ignore their natural urges to submit to a man and bear his children in favour of fucking themselves up like there's no tomorrow. Now that's real hatred.

I have no problem with a Ghostbusters remake using women if it was necessary for the plot in a major way. Even having two guys and two women on the team would be great. My problem with this film is that they're using women because they're trying to make a statement that "The time for the patriarchy is over - from now on, we're gonna prove that women can do things better than men, and ANYONE who doesn't like it is a good for nothing, patriarchal, misogynistic, shit eating faggot who deserves to be castrated." They and their fans have such a confrontational attitude, like, "We're going to take a beloved franchise and BUTCHER it with our message of Social Justice - I DARE you shitlords to find fault with it, we will have you for breakfast." It makes me so angry that they chose Ghostbusters to push their SJW agenda. It's bad enough if it was a new IP, but to ruin a good one is just cruel.

But, they did it because there's no way it can fail - it does well, it's because people WANT to see strong independent Womyn taking charge and opens up the possibility for EVERY franchise to have a Social Justice undertone. And, if it fails, it only did so because SEXISM. The shareholders will understand that and keep green lighting sequels until people are forced to like it! We'll shove dogshit down their throats until it tastes like chocolate or we'll die trying!

Needless to say, I don't know a single person who plans on seeing this film. Even other women think it looks pathetic. This world is so sick, it's a struggle to live day by day watching this circus freak show getting worse and worse.
