The Red Pill. We all have our paths to it, and our reasons for taking it or not. I found the path to TRP just going through subreddits. I looked at it skeptically.
(There's a tl;dr at the bottom of this)
All research into new theory takes a special mix of vision, tenacity, and yes, genius. The Red Pill is no exception. The cross-discipline mixture of ideas, examples, and facts presented here have laid a solid framework and foundation for anyone that actually wants it - and this is probably to the dismay of those who don't. I regularly see straw man and ad hominem attacks against TRP out there, and what could easily be attempts to co-opt or otherwise smear TRP from the inside.
You guys who started this, and put it together for the rest of us are something else. Thank you.
I know this isn't just me, but I like it when people bring in economic and market theory, and relative value. I like the applications of social Darwinism that come up. I know how the hourglass female shape goes directly to the reward center of our brains, and I like to think about how something like the Stanford Prisoner Experiment on power dynamics, or the Calhoun Experiment on the soft life relate to the Red Pill.
And Lord Acton on the corrupting effects of power. And in light of Lord Acton I appreciated the honesty when so many guys here said they'd be the same way if they got the same power chicks have. After all they're reading the Red Pill to get some power over the women in their own lives. Oh hell, it's not "they", it's "we".
But I am a skeptic, and yes, honestly I come from a Blue Pill past. Raised by a single mom, etc. etc., blah blah. You've all heard it or read it or lived it. Only the details are different, not the events.
For example, in my forties I went to my mother and asked her why she hadn't taught me what women really could be like; the deceits, tricks, and outright lies...the semi-truths and complete lack of concern for fairness I could expect to find so often. And that she never gave a moment to teaching me how to handle it to take care of myself. She could have taught me a few things, you know?
She said that women had to be able to protect themselves from men, and needed to be able to win like they do in order to get what they wanted. So I pointed out to her that she had left her son open to every woman in the world, on purpose; that she had put them all before me in her mind...and she changed the subject.
That's not a sob story guys; just a statement of fact, and you've probably read others like it here if you've been around very long.
Still, no matter how much sense a thing makes I've got to test it. And yes, I really don't want it to be true. I want to be able to be the guy who believes in respect and understanding and openness and everything Blue Pill, you know? And in some ways this makes me a perfect person to run a test: I'm honest and if I'm biased either way I want the results to be false.
Again, the details don't matter. The test I ran goes from me being RP with a woman and getting laid, to BP with her and she won't even answer my texts, to RP and I get laid some more, and once again back to BP and no sex, where I keep it.
And she's no dummy. It's taken me a while to get used to her laughing, stopping a moment and saying "I don't like being mocked", and then going back to laughing at how I did it, and then to me so easily upping the kino...
Two nights ago we had a long late night conversation about a guy she says she really wants to be with. And let me tell you: it's not the BP guy rated about 8 or so on appearance, social position, financial security, emotional support, and so forth. What she wants is this:
"I told you about him before HomunculusEmeritus. Chad lives (80 miles away) in Austin. He told me he was in an open relationship but I found out that's just because they have three ways sometimes. I know he isn't dependable and he'd never actually move out here for me because he likes his job. He says he's breaking up with his gf in a few weeks. ... Yeah, I know that's probably just a lie and he's just fucking me ... I know you're a good man HomunculusEmeritus because I've seen how you put yourself out there for stuff that's important here in town. I know you'd be better for us (she has a young son) than Chad, lots better, and you're not waiting around for me, but for some reason he's just what I want so I'm just gonna go for it with him."
Everyone reading this can tell I'm not about some dominance game, or being a PUA, or anything like that. Personally I think it's wrong to call women "plates" because it dehumanizes them (and besides this makes TRP an easier target). I think a lot of the guys who post about their conquests aren't here to give true field reports, but they're here for an ego boost.
Yeah, I get how many guys are gonna say I'm still Blue Pill for thinking that way (and for other reasons), and they're kinda right. Y'all, I get to choose who I am, how I think, and how I act. And as long as I'm Blue Pill around women they're going to choose shallow, cheating, futureless Chad in Austin over me for their escapades.
At the same time I absolutely appreciate and respect the guys who advise us that women want to feel, psychologically, that they don't have a choice. It fits the hamstering profile perfectly. Women use psychological ploys All The Time to justify their behavior, and this is just a perfect key for their lock.
Don't get me wrong: planting the idea that they must give into their natural desires is not to be mistaken for actually forcing them into anything. Force is bad, surrender to desire is what's good.
Six months into finding the Red Pill, thinking about it, fitting it into explanations I never really wanted, slowly trying it out, and finally a true full test in its own right. And the result is this:
Tl;dr: I don't need to change on the inside who I am. I need to change on the outside how I relate to women. How to use wordplay as foreplay. How to have them value me with disrespecting them. How to give women what they need so I can get what I want too.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not gonna cheat, I'm not gonna hurt. All I ever needed was to accept the facts as they are: there's more vagina out there than penises, and women control the supply like DeBeers controls diamonds.
Women don't set the agenda, women set the protocols. Follow them and reap the consequent rewards.
Red Pill, guys. Red Pill.
