A Tale in Female Privilege

Rough story OP. But it's better to learn this early than later.

Even if I hadn't gone to school I'd've learned all about the different expectations from a young man versus a young woman just from the way my sister is treated by everyone, family or otherwise.

I'm 22 and she's a year younger than me. She's been driving since she was 16, me since I was 18 since I don't really give a fuck about driving. I was pulled over by the police once whilst learning to drive because my dad kept flipping his shit in the passenger seat saying that I was speeding every time I rose over 40km/h and wouldn't believe me when I told him we were on a 60km/h road. A cop noticed the way I was driving and gave me a stern lecture because I didn't know where my proof of insurance was (probably because I was learning how to drive). I was about ready to drive off a cliff. This is the extent of my dealings with the police, but this incident has since become a family joke as I was pulled over "for being too slow".

My sister has been pulled over for speeding 4 times, and once for street racing. This has to my knowledge in total cost her less than $200 in tickets, even though it seems to me that any reasonable person would figure out that by the fifth time you catch someone willfully disregarding the safety of the people she has to share the road with, $30-40 fines clearly aren't enough. My sister has also driven stoned and drunk on a couple of occasions and as recently as last Thursday regaled me with a long, boring story about what a crazy time she had trying to text back and forth with her friend while driving home from work.

My parents' reaction to all of this was naturally to make excuses for everything she does. Her first couple of speeding tickets were blown off because "she's a new driver" and "she doesn't have a lot of experience yet". When she got caught racing a friend of hers, she somehow avoided jail time, and whenever I mention this in passing to my parents they are angry with me for not "letting it go". When it happened they were slightly angry, but mostly relieved that my sister had somehow escaped punishment (the officer that stopped her was called away to a more serious crime while talking to her) because "it would've been really unfair if she had flunked out of school because of something as silly as a traffic ticket".

Now being much more RP than I was I've learned to laugh at these types of things, not cry, but when this happened I was gobsmacked. I've lost friends in car crashes, driving safely is something I feel quite strongly about, and my own parents (one of whom, my dad, drove trucks for 35 years and has over 4 million miles driving just commercially) could only see how the mean old police had upset my sister by making her think she might go to jail for something she should've gone to jail for. Despite constantly assuring me that "she's learning from her mistakes" and that they weren't going to let her get away with this shit anymore, they still managed to (in between twelve hours a day of bitching about being poor) find $2800 to loan my sister to buy a truck.

And the kicker? Remember when I got a little speech for not having my proof of insurance? It wasn't in the glove box because my sister had taken it out a few days before and not bothered to put it back.

Moral of the story: don't look for equality. Don't be a fool like I was for 20 years expecting some kind of celestial justice, where the stars eventually align to fuck over people who do bad things. Every second I spent when I was younger angry over injustices like this was a second I was getting fatter, dumber, and older. Women get a sweet deal in life, for a while, but there is not enough money in the world you could pay me to be reborn a bitch. Work on yourself and be the man you're supposed to be and bullshit like this will take care of itself.

I've been bullied before. It wasn't so much as the girls in my class, as it was the boys and the female teachers. And some male teachers. The girls just follower suit.

But if I could punch one of my teachers, right through their damned pompous faces, MAN! Would it relieve me. I would feel such a great ease and calm come down in my chest.

So, what I'm saying is, punch your bullies. And punch em until they can't fight back. Man or woman.

When I was in third grade, there was this fifth-grade girl who went around kicking boys in the nuts. She was fucking known for it. One day, she walked up and kicked me in the nuts.

Maybe she liked it, I dunno, but the second day when she came to kick me in the nuts, I kicked her in the throat.

I got suspended from school for a week for beating up a girl, but I didn't mind. My father took that week off work and we built a porch he had been meaning to overhaul. He not only believed me, he was proud of me.

They don't make dad's like that any more.

When I was in middle school, we were playing on the jungle gym (yes we had one at our middle school), and I slipped and fell. My head hit a girl in the face on my way down and she got a bloody nose. I myself sprained my thumb and ankle. I got 2 weeks suspension and 4 days detention.

A month later this girl, who I didn't even know, kicked me as hard as she could in my groin with big platform boots on (this was back in the late 90's when Marilyn Manson was all the rage). All I did was say "hi" to her when she looked at me, and she just walked up and kicked me. She kicked me so hard that my testicles swelled with fluid and I vomited and had to crawl 300 meters to the nurses office, where I fainted. Her punishment? She had to write me an apology note.

Always keep in mind it only gets worse if she's your live-in GF or wife. A lot worse, she'll beat you, talk some shit to police about it, next thing, you are in prison being gangraped for the next couple of years.

That's why the slightest sign of angry physical violence toward any man from a plate is always a giant red flag, and grounds for dropping her ass without any mercy.

Teach women and girls NEVER to hit a man. People who've been through this shit often point out that as things are, if you're so cornered and desperate that you're going to have to retaliate, you might as well not pull any, destroy her. At least then you'll be serving for something you did actually do, and she'll know the dire real life consequences of putting her hands on a man.
