It's a revision of a post I did a year ago.

A big part about getting off the fence (or whatever pill eating metaphor people want to use) and getting things done is to realize your self sabotage is the problem.

It's not easy, but it's simple. Act, observe, change.

And through action, you can rewire all that bullshit in your grey matter, and push into a positive feedback loop, where things in life go better. It's not the goddamned secret, it's getting out of your own faggoty way to get things done.

Excuses, rationalization, the hamster... All these things are the consequence of being too damned smart for our own good, and living inside out heads, because the real world is scary... or so we tell ourselves. I'm sure a lot of guys have that first aversion ton an OYS post, or writing out their failures for others to read, because there's some boogeyman out there, some horrible consequence that never comes, and is never as bad as first thought..

Case in point... A post from a few days back, talking about strength training building bone density, I made a claim that it helps develop that chisled jaw, along with losing fat. Someone arguing for two days, excuse after excuse, totally rationalized.

In that time, he could have fit a few workouts in, and been better today than he was last week, instead, rationalizations.

Get to work brothers, worry about the problems when they happen.
