I suspect her current boyfriend is the one who listens to her troubles.

From the article, she stated that she aborted the child (if I read that correctly). My theory is that she is not as open with her current "boyfriend" about how much she has been cheating with her ex. She knows her ex is not going to take her back and does not want her and a baby. My guess is that she was pretty sure it was from her ex and she knew her new guy would possibly leave if he found out she had the other mans child. Sounds like her "boyfriend" is her meal ticket until she finishes her education and she doesn't want to mess that up.

Not really, trapping an alpha with a pregnancy is a common tactic. Good thing she aborted it though, either way. She's to much of a dirty whore to be a mother. She did that kid a favor by killing it.

That was my thought as well. I was thinking that she should tend to keep the alpha child. She is not at the wall yet but she may have just aborted the best seed she is likely to obtain at moment. My only conclusion is that we don't know enough about the financial status of the Alpha. My guess is that he is either not financially stable himself or that her current "boyfriend" is not willing to take on her lovers child.

If she could get them to both "play ball" her primary strategy would be to give birth to the child of the man with the best genes. For some reason, she killed that child (imho). She felt that she lacked power/control even with a baby growing inside her? Something about her environment was not manipulated to her total satisfaction.
