Summery: Behind everything any living being does, is want. It's never non-existent. Want is natural and nothing to be ashamed of. Desire exists whether you want it to be or not. This is going to be a long rant on existentialism. If you're down, buckle up.

Body: Take a brief moment, and widely think about what YOU think makes everyone and every living thing do anything? You might say a person exercises for a better body, and a person eats to satiate their hunger, and a person has sex to release hormones and get the period of ecstasy. These answers are all correct, yes, but incomplete. The true reason, down to the very root, why humans and organisms in general do anything, is to feel good. Even deeper than that, organisms try to activate actions that make them feel good because of the chemical release that the act provides in their bodies.

Think about that. We're all little fucking drug addicts. The most successful of us are the biggest drug addicts. And you know what? That's good. Evolution, the abstract concept it is knew or rather, through trial and circumstance, came to the point in which the release of chemicals into a sac of meat meant that the sac of meat would act in a manner beneficial towards the goal that evolution had in mind.

Now what is exactly evolution and how did it come about? I don't really know. Part of the reason I'm making this post is to get other peoples perspective on what this thing is called life and why we're here and we're going.

Here's what I've gathered so far: We have the ability to develop new genes in order to more favorably survive an environment. This has to be for a reason. We don't just have the ability to survive, and survive better for no reason. If that was the case, it'd be easier to simply die. Evolution must be trying to reach some point. We must be going somewhere in the cosmos.

"Man is something that must be overcome." - Friedrich Nietzsche

With that said, I'll give a few thoughts towards our origins as organisms. Perhaps we came about as circumstance. I guess it is possible that a few molecules came together in such a way that it produced what we call life. I don't really think this happened though. It just doesn't seem as fun to me as there being a god or reason for living. It's possible yes, but I think I'm going to buy a different brand of bullshit.

I'm going to take a little leap and say that their is a reason or goal pertaining to why we're here. From this idea, I'll make a few deductions. The first one is God. One explanation as to why we're here is that there is some celestial being that created us and existence. The christians, the catholics, the muslims, the jews, and all the other religious assholes in the world have come to this conclusion. It isn't too absurd that they created such a thing either. Put your self in their shoes. One day you wake up, a few years before some prick named christ is born(which you know for some reason), you walk out side your tent and see a plain with fucking animals roaming. Your wife comes screaming saying one of your children got eaten by a fucking cheetah and more are on the way. You don't have time to mourn, make another child, or sip some of that prehistoric sap beer. You grab your rock sword and go out to meet these cheetah pricks on your corn field. After a long days work fending off wild predators, you come home tired and sweaty and at your tent is your wives brother from up the hill, and he asks you this shit: " Have you accepted God as your lord and savior?" You ask "Who the hell is god?" almost tempted to kill him and eat him because you're not far past a cave-man. "Who's god?" he exclaims." God is what created everything from the mold under your toe, to the teeth in a lions mouth. He made the plains and the moon and the stars and the sun. He is all knowing and all giving. If you worship him and accept him in your heart and give a small donation to his cause, we guarantee admittance into heaven where all you will ever want is a moments distance and there are no worries." You look around your camp and see flies and dirt and more cheetahs on the prowl off in the distance. "Where do I sign?" People who buy this brand of bullshit make the assumption that God is watching and directing and has a goal in mind and is possibly even intervening with the events that occur on our plane of existence. Or maybe he isn't watching but is masturbating to 90 degree angles or some bullshit. Who knows. I'll assume that if god as the christians or jews depict does exist, he didn't go through all the trouble of creating the whole fucking universe without having some intent for it all.

The second option there is no god and that our origins don't come from a sentient being whatsoever. Nothing more needs to be said here.

Our origins as organisms can be chopped down to these two simple ideas: We either came from a being with or without intent for us, or we didn't.
