I was sitting in my backyard having a ciggerate, we have multiple pens for our animals but one in particular has 3 hens and 2 roosters. i was talking to my nan through a window when she pointed out to me that the roosters were having a fight, usually in a similar scenario i would tell our animals to stop fighting but in this case i observed. There was something interesting about the fight i couldn't understand at the moment they were fighting. They weren't ravaging each other like monkeys fighting over a banana, there was something that seemed sophisticated about the fight, and i am led to believe there was a mutual understanding from each other to an extent. That's when i realized - ahhh yes mating rights.
I remember watching a Jordan Peterson video about how the limbic system plays a big role with lobsters and humans when they fight. When the winner is decided they stand tall and hold themselves in a more refined stance (eg. frame) while the losers hold their head lower and sort of slouch, this is to preserve their vitals but it also says something else about character. They would rather protect themselves than hold themselves high and proud against a unpredictable world where you could be tested in a innumerable way of things at a moment's notice.
Coming back from drifting away in thought i noticed not long after the event, the winner white rooster was copulating with a hen, whatever i thought as i had another draw of my ciggerate. This is were it gets interesting, immediately after his finished the creme-coloured loser rooster immediately starts testing him - getting in his face, trying to aggravate while vicariously attempting to draw attention and etc. but how does the winner react? He wasn't really bothered at all... he kept pecking at his seed as if the creme wasn't even there, but as soon as creme jumped in the air as roosters do before initiating attack the white immediately stood up right and straight... but didn't jump nor did he flinch, like a mighty statue that resembles the legacy of some great man. after some pondering i have been wondering if this itself is a some what counter test to the creme as if to say "cmon coward are you really gonna do it?" but after the creme's 3 unsuccessful attempts he follows back to his position in the pecking order.
I know this is unlike most other red pill posts but i thought it was a bit fascinating and a little insightful to the correlation of the animal kingdom and some aspects of society or similar social environments that depict hierarchys and the players within
