This may seem random, but I'm curious if anyone knew of any supporting evidence for this theory I have.

My hypothesis is that there is a natural reaction to end a relationship in the event of a miscarriage. I've seen relationships get nasty after such a tragic event, and it seemed to make sense to me that there would be a natural behavioral strategy to give up on relationships in this sort of case, maybe a natural defense against incompatible genes/bloodtypes?

I acknowledge that this could easily be something pulled from my ass, and just wanted to know if anyone had any evidence that could point out if this were fact or just an example of an 'ergo proper hoc' fallacy. Thanks for your time.
