Diagnosed (not by self, by a fucking doctor) sociopath checking in. If I had to answer your question clearly, I'd say we're a different breed in this category. Certain challenges in life are easily overcome by a sociopath due to our intrinsic ability to lie and cheat (on our partner[s]) without guilt. That's honestly about it. What you can gather from this is that we're more likely to get with females. Now, that being said, we also tend to be followers, a specifically beta trait.

All that being said, I can only speak with regard to antisocial personality disorder. Other types of sociopath - I'm not familiar with. One thing is for sure, though, something I've noticed about TRP...this place is full of betas that are following other betas pretending to be alphas and faking it until they make it, so to speak.

Honestly, the correlation you seek is moronic. You're trying to see if someone with a mental condition automatically goes alpha? No, dude, just no.

If you really wanna know how we think, play a video game. See how you treat the other characters in the game? You might do something nice, without reward, for another character...because roleplay, or some shit but at the end of the day, you don't forget they're just pixels. That's how we see you. Almost completely unrelated to alpha/beta.

Not necessarily. You can go around not giving a single shit but that means that you could either work on yourself to the point of near perfection or you can just exist. Sociopaths tend not to have gray areas.

If "game" is signaling status, then any high status traits are good game. Sociopaths lack empathy. This has been proven scientifically to be a high-status trait.

My thinking is

Dark Triad traits = high-status traits

So yes.
