Arranged marriage is a bad idea NOW. It didn't always used to be, but nowdays even in these so called "traditional" countries like India, you simply do not have the same power in the whole affair. Let me outline what it looks like (I'm half indian, my mom brings this shit up everytime I visit lol)

Parents choose a girl. The girl's parents make sure that you are financially set - you are evaluated and seen as a $.
You marry this girl. She is locked to you for life now, as she knows that divorce is a massive no-no. She starts to gain weight, she sits around the house all day possibly not even employed, and she spends your money.
She literally has no incentive to do shit, because you two do not love each other yet, she might even have a crush or side interest that her parents made her put aside for the marriage. She knows you cannot divorce her, because divorce court is a bitch for men in India. Not to get all /mr on you, but it's fuuuucked up. The ring goes on, the gloves come off. She probably isn't cooking either, so no lovely tandoori naans for dinner after 3 months in the marriage.
Even if the sex life is good, you're going to get bored and want something else. It's natural because she wasn't selected by your dick to begin with. A high value guy may be able to be faithful to a really hot chick that his dick scouted out from an array of several girls (althoguh even then, temptation is ever present). Except of course, if you cheat, there goes your home / money. You can't even use fucking dread game at this point, because she knows she can fuck you over.
She on the other hand... she can cheat. What are you going to do about it, divorce her? India is not what it used to be. It used to be women would rather die than get divorced. Nowdays, if you get divorced as a girl, you take your vaginamony and you hit up the cougary bars and get dicked down by some desperate 20-29 year old betas. Just like in the US.
29 hits. The clock strikes and the princess turns into a pumpkin. Married women just don't age well - the security of having locked down a guy, combined with staying home all day eating samosas... is just bad. The hottest Indian chicks in the world, like Aishwarya Rai and stuff... even they can spontaneously go into pumpkin mode. I don't actually believe it's all genetics - I think it's mostly marriage.
You have to finance her whole extended family's medical bills and basically pad their retirement. But your wife throws a tantrum every time your aging parents come to see you. Basically, financial matters become a pain in the ass because she believes she owns half your money (she does, technically), and marriage symbolizes you promising to basically cater to her like Daddy did. Because you were chosen for your financial potential, when you start to hit your big money years, her family will start cashing out.
Indian women do not always survive the transition to America very well. You see it as "oh I can earn a 7 or 8 in America as a Indian dude with a good career, but I can snag a 9 from India, wife that up, bring her here, and be batting above where I deserve to be." This is a flawed idea. You bring this Indian traditional girl to LA, she will become an LA girl. Girls' identities are FLUID, they quickly transform into what they need to be to coast by. She won't be a 9 for long on the standard hot girl diet of street hotdogs after the club closes, red bull and vodka, and vats of peanut butter. What's worse is, her mental state will switch QUICK.

There's a lot I love about traditional Indian women (the ones who can cook... my god). But like with Japanese women, it's important to not fetishize arranged marriage cultures. That is fantasy - a form of BP, if you will.

I wouldn't personally ever consider an arranged marriage, for the simple reason that the first part of your sexual strategy as a man - selection - is out of your control. The reason arranged marriages have worked historically in some cultures is because the rest of the infrastructure involving marriage was set up to incentivize their success. That's fading. No longer a good option.

I'm Indian and I'm definitely considering it. Like you mentioned earlier in this post, there is a 99% chance she's a virgin, gender roles are established, and she's socially conservative. I'm not going to get in bed with a post-wall slut. I'm not going to get in bed with someone who refuses to do the laundry or cook a meal for me. And I'm certainly not going to marry someone who plans on divorcing me, taking half my stuff, and then calling it "empowerment."

In the arranged marriage market, you'll have women who although may have protected their virginity are thoroughly clueless to what men want and have little to offer.

Most of the women I've come across are out of shape, poorly groomed, communicate that they won't cook, have a career first mentality, etc.

These women are essentially marketing themselves to virgin beta providers who are themselves low on the totem pole.

You'll find the attractive fit girl now and then, but beware of buyer's remorse. When it comes time for scouting for suitors, girls crash diet to become really slim and make themselves as attractive as possible. All my female cousins lost weight, and six months into marriage they were back to their former size.

My strategy is cast as wide a net as possible but keep the plates spinning so my brain doesn't trick me to wife the next girl I see in the arranged marriage market.

I'm Indian (not old enough to get married of course) and I don't think arranged marriages are the best option.

The relationship might not work out or one of the partners is really abusive. Don't take this 100% because it might not be true but there was a story about an Indian guy who got arranged married and his wife killed him for the lotto money he won. Lucky she went to jail but still.

I guess those men don't really have to look in America though. If they spend some time in whatever their country is and find love there, it's their choice to bring them to America. Personally I'd try to find love here or just stay alone.

TL;DR - Arranged marriages are bad, I think finding love in another country and bringing them to America is okay (just make sure she's not using you for citizenship)

Short answer? No.

Long answer? I don't think you understand the dynamics of an arranged marriage. It's not lala fantasy land where you get your pick of any number of Stepford Wives, and just because a woman has been constrained all her life by her society doesn't mean she won't drop to shit when exposed to modern, toxic feminism. Sure, if you're successful enough you might have your pick of many attractive mates, but "successful enough" is a fluid term and remember that the women can also choose to reject you. It's a two way street.

It's much easier, and more beneficial IMO, to work on your goals, have good game, and select for yourself. At least then you'll know pretty intimately who you're getting involved with and, having met her in the States, you'll be able to tell how much damage feminism has done to her. If you're adamant about getting a traditionalist girl from your home country, don't go arranged. Go back and try to meet women with that in mind, and make sure to fuck her before you marry her.

Curious about something. Why have an arranged married with someone from back home? If you are Indian, there are plenty of Indian girls here in the US who are open to that idea. When I say open to the idea, I mean they are open to the idea of the modern arranged marriage, which involves getting to know the person before marriage.

I have had Indian friends do that here, so I know it happens. I am Pakistani myself (but live in the US), and I had an arranged marriage.

The thing to remember about arranged marriage cultures is that it was the job of the parents to raise their children to be mature young adults -- in the U.S., we have an entire generation of arrested-development juveniles who don't think that adulthood begins until 30.
