Scarface is something to be born to, that amount of ballsiness is not learnable from PUA manuals. And if I understood that character right, there was some amount of psychopathy going on - like the part when he killed his best friend.

I don't think you understand the logic behind PUA.

Most of the blowhards literally treat it like some kind of instruction manual to get laid, but if you read some of the classics by niel straus (me fave of the originals) then it's about being a man and self improvement, added with social situations broken down with the scientific method.

Anyone can get there, it's all about what you want to get from it. If your goal is to be a guy with a house in the suburbs and some kids, you won't get there, but if your the kind of person who looks up to that kind of attitude, you will get there.

It's no more an instruction manual than the bible is. It's just a set of principles that you can apply to your life as you see fit.

Eh, the usual terminology problems, PUA, Game and Red Pill being used interchangingly, I think this needs to be cleared up sooner or later. What you described I would call Game. PUA would be more like Roosh's blogs, with endless reports of "fucked a 8/10 today in southwest Kuala Lumpur, would recommend" - i.e. making it an art or sport to make many pick-ups. That guy is basically like a travelling restaurant tester. Anyway, let's not get too terminology obsessed, but it would be useful to clear these up.

Not at all, I just use whichever is applicable to the conversation at hand. In the end, it's just specifications on the all emcompassing question. What does it mean to be a modern man, and how do you navigate in soceity IMHO.

And yeah, those kind of guys are the loud ones, Mystery and Tylerdurden were always more outgoing than Straus, but guys arent going to post how they got their life together, dress to reflect who they are, and generally become the center of their social world, and got that promotion with their newfound confidence. It's a boring read. Though you will see people who do it unintentionally in some of the better entrepeneur blogs out there. Ribbonfarm takes to an almost clinical level

Much easier to read a story about a guy picking a chick up. Plus that cateres to younger audiences, and reddit is predominantely teenagers and early 20 somethings

Yes sorta. The conversion isn't free when coming from that direction. It costs money.

The difference between the two is that with influence and connections you can make money out of thin air. The reverse is not possible.

The irony here is at cosmic levels. We have pick up where we discuss me me me, how to get the women you want. We talk about the traits that are attractive. We get ridiculed.

Here, she is talking from the opposite perspective. Talking essentially the same inner game. How to get higher quality men (durr hypergamy?) Getting ridiculed.

I thought redpill was to understand inter gender relationships. How much do you really understand if you are still getting upset over the basic concepts?

Yeah I argue a lot here too. It's whatever, it's also an important role to play because there has to be some balance. I guess I'd say I bevel the edges. Every comment here gets seen by a lot of people, and irrationality can't go unchecked. Especially when those outside looking in cherry pick their most favourite ignorant shit as the source of all evilness that is trp. There has to be an opinion shown to balance it (not even necessarily to defeat it ). Its a sub about learning and thinking, friction will happen.

So you could say I'm typically midway or bottom of threads lol.

I'm the same. I don't argue with the actual person, I try to show what a sane person would say, and hope that the casual reader comes to a better solution than OP

And just an egalitarian myself, with focus on men, becuase it's what affects me directly. I'm all up for calling a spade a spade, but maybe it's from my old PUA days... Mental masturbation and downright ignorance are such horrible traits for a main to have

I actually liked her post.

Less indecisiveness --> Less insecurity. Less talking/dreaming, more doing.

More directly communicate his needs and wants, you know where you stand at all time.

Let's you know when you're doing stuff that's bothering him, no more guessing.

Basically, that being with someone who knows his shit, know what he wants, know his values, and knows how to communicate them makes for a relationship where you don't constantly feel insecure because you don't know what you should be doing to make it work.

That does a pretty good job of listing why a woman would be attracted to an alpha.
